Can i ask you about proper Arma 3 troubleshooting crash report via Launcher, plz?

you can go to C:\Users\*username*\Documents\Arma 3 and make save the whole folder. Saved game should be preserved after reinstalling Arma 3.

If I do reinstall the game, is there a way to preserve my singleplayer progress?
Note: I have Arma in the same hard-drive as my OS. Does that matter?
Note2: I played MP in a server for 20 mins, and Arma Crashed as well, same error.

This has not occurred on singleplayer, even when trying to force it by stressing the game with detonation of nuclear weapons in highly populated areas. I also have not tried tried an official server so I'll have to look into that.

@makohmb, try restarting your computer and then verifying the integrity of the game cache for Arma 3.

We are having the same thing happening on our server and it is affecting an entire mission. It does not happen to all players at the same time and when the server has the problem it sometimes only effects the player who is in the admin/Zeus role and not the rest of the server. This all started AFTER the 1.66 update.

@nmot5945, posting some of the contents from an arma3.rpt file does not help and only creates a wall of text to scroll past.

Sure would be a nice addition and a reason to utilize the base Taru helicopter for more than a decoy in missions.

I also wish their was a 1,500m ALT setting. 2,000m ALT causes the ground to be cloudy and sometimes unseeable on certain servers.

i dont have problem with unmoded game, but when i put the mod on, some times im able to play full rounds of battle royal without hitch, and few times i get kicked, less persistence. if u know more tricks lets me know.
i should let u know that the game was on my HDD, and the problem with the mod was very much high, so the devs of the mod suggested, to relocate the game to my SSD, i did that, and the mod did not move with game, so i had to re-download it in the new location (SSD). the problem diminished for quite minimum time like a day or 2, and im struggling with it ever since. the mod help dev give me the FAQ file which consisted of normal procedures like, verifying the game files, check the mod update, mission files, files count, and so, which i complied. and after that they said no help can be giving to me as per the limited tricked they had, all were used with no avail.
so i was directed to arma 3 feedback and discord, in discord no help were given except its the mod( workshop) no the main game, which i knew, also i should mention that very few number of players are experiencing this. so it may be from my poor hard ware, which is lenovo Y00. it is a good hardware for playing arma. and i should add im playing standard settings, just in case.
by the way the mod is not in the parameters section in the launcher. its only in the mod section. and when i remove it from the mod section in the launcher parameter, the server did ask for the mod(obviously), so i had to put it back on.
i used the tool provided by u, and i think it worked, not sure for how long, i got kicked few times today at the end, but that was expected. people r using net in my house.

Binding zoom in/out to another combination fixes it temporarily.
Another way (not for me) is changing to binoculars and back

-malloc tbb4
-maxvram 2048 or higher based on your vga
-cpucount= based on your cpu

You can try verify game cache integrity after restarting your computer.
Next thing, you can disable this parameters and restart the game (-cpuCount=2 > -enableHT -maxmem=8192 -maxvram=1920)

did 30 min of testing with new dev version, (was different (.pbo) because i couldn't find the xmas dev servers) so i took a public one with invade and anex on altis to test.

i removed it,i was able to play altis life, unmoded mission in arma, without problem, and i also played a round of the workshop mod.

Updating to the latest version of Arma 3 may help too.

I Am having the same issue, with lrps and ams and in the tigris and t100 tanks (haven't tried any others) this problem has only occurred since the last update (the one with all the fancy foot step sounds), what one is more important in a mil sim? roll it back it was working better before.

yes, uninstall the tool after repairing but AoR won´t help in all cases. Please visit the page mentioned by me in one of my posts and follow instructions.

your problem might be caused by a few issues. DX11 means some problem in your GPU.

When you say uninstall the tool do you mean deleting the app ?

So basically if I use your fix, and it would work I can switch to normal ArmA version from developer. And it was really this only file the whole time ?

did everything that you have written, updated drivers using the All in One Runtimes tool, checked the cash games. But still, the game crashes on stage boot the server with the same error. Tomorrow I will try to reinstall the game just might help.
