Hello,

thank you for the feedback. Unfortunately I am not able to download the crashdump files (error 404), could you please upload them again or use some free file sharing service to provide them?

Thank you

Will do as soon as I get a free moment.

I fixed this on my side. I zipped up the files instead of listing them separately and tested the download. It works now.

This is still happening today.

I am sure the developers will appreciate more crash dumps. ;)

Will do on next crash.

It would appear this may have morphed into an internal application failure that does not "throw" any exception. I run two 24/7 Arma servers (Altis and Tanoa) that both intermittently fail as of the latest 1.66 patch.

Observations:

  • The server now becomes unresponsive
  • Clients kicked (but appear externally to still be connected)
  • No new clients can connect
  • The Arma server reports the players at the time of crash are still connected (even though they are not)
  • The server must be terminated and restarted before any client can connect
  • The .RPT file shows NO exception and simply stops reporting updates at the time the server internally fails

This is all the information I can report at this time. The last time something like this happened, an Arma developer worked 1 on 1 with me with an instrumented arma3server.exe debug binary. With the special server file we were able to trap the failure and I could send the minidump and RPT to back to the Arma dev.

Tanoa server just failed tonight and the game created dump files. Here are the dump and RPT files:

Please let me know if you need more info.
