Arma 3 Activity
May 10 2016
It has been 15 days since I uploaded the crash files from the DevBranch. Please let me know what the status is
Could you please switch to devbranch and try reproducing the issue there?
When I switch to devbranch, there are no servers available to play
Hello,
could you please run the verification of game cache from the Steam client to make sure that the files are not corrupted and check that the file (Arma 3 folder)\Launcher\SharedResources.dll exists in Launcher folder and also that the file with same name is not in any other folder (e.g. it's not directly in the main game folder)?
Downvoted.
We already have British Armed Forces for ArmA 2. And that "a lot of british players would appreciate this kind of content added into the game." is not a valid argument more so than "a lot of Norwegian players would appreciate this kind of content added into the game." or "a lot of Somali players would appreciate this kind of content added into the game.".
We already have the CTRG uniforms with the UK flag-patch. Use them and stop bitching about the UK not being glorified as much as it was in ArmA 2.
yeah but as hippie said not all there work is bug fixing cause if it was the game would be fixed already, right?
I think they should add more NATO units altogether, as well as CSAT units too. Or at least add things such as more voices for units, some weapons and of course skins, as there's already a Chinese CSAT in-game, according to the Helicopters DLC pics, but I've noticed that it doesn't have the correct voices, and all units speak Persian.
Personally, its a better idea of them to be able to focus fixing bugs and performance issues.
The modders do great work, but one of the reasons the game is broken is because of conflicting mods. If BI release a British Armed Forces DLC pack, we get a fully supported fraction and BI get more money for futher development of the game.
BI has recently released a roadmap for 2016 and it shows that they are working on the Eden Editor, Tanoa, VTOL and Light Strike Vehicles. So, I don't see why this idea should be discarded, not all their work involves fixing bugs.
We don't really need one from BIS. We have modders who can do so. Better the devs focus on fixing the game than adding thing.
I agree with the fixing of the game, but this could be a really nice addition to the vanilla game, not everyone uses mods.

Thanks.
Hi Adam, I got ARMA 3 to start now. I just started it with exile only and noticed the same thing happened. I then checked it with A3 Launcher and it said it was corrupted. I deleted the exile folder and re-exctracted it and now it is starting ARMA3 at least. (It worked previously but seems to get corrupted when Arma crashes?) I tried to play exile again with all the other mods added but it froze everytime i tried it. I searched the issue and it appears that AllInArmaTerrain pack is the culprit. I re-downloaded it but it still causes the game to freeze. It downloads for a very long time and most probably get corrupted due to the slow download? Others have reported using CCG helped to get working. Investigating and trrying that now...

Could you please mention some objects which are affected?
Can confirm, VG)
At least these two:
"Land_Obstacle_Ramp_F"
"Land_Obstacle_Pass_F"
The ramp is especially crazy.
Hopefully they fix this issue soon.
Well, later this week the Roadmap drops, so hopefully we'll get some insight into their schedule. Hopefully they have room for some of these issues.
Please use our memory allocator and if the issue happens again please upload newly generated crashdump files. Thanks.

Updated.
I think it has something to do with 7thCav Amex server. I didn't have enough time to play on other servers long enough to be 100% sure.
Fixed on devbranch.
