Windows up to date, still session lost :(

Man just wait for tracer ammo. Myself i would use it only when I would have no other choice but you will be doing as you wish.

Deleting dayz.cfg/dayz folder in documents doesnt help. I will try to update Windows even though I am scared as hell about anniversary update. My router is provided by ISP, idk if I can do factory reset but I tried to turn it ON/OFF a few times to be sure its not the cause. I really want to play DayZ so guys if you need any files/logs just tell me. Damn withdrawal syndrome ;)

Do you have all the available windows updates installed? As for some users that have been experiencing this particular issue, updating windows has resolved the issue. If your windows are up to date and you are still experiencing the issue, can you try to reset your router to factory settings if possible and let us know here if that had any effect on the issue?

Try to remove folder DayZ.cfg in DayZ folder in Documents. This may help

Same problem, after 1 month break from the game I cant play. Session lost in 0-5 mins from joining. Tried both 32 and 64 bit client, "official" and normal community servers, experimental etc. Reinstall/verify doesnt help.

I did notice that I clicked to launch the game but clicked on another program before dayz took my monitor and that I clicked the icon on the bottom to launch the game and the game was dark and I could not change it in the settings but when I alt tabbed out and even closed it my color calibration stayed normal. but when I launched it again normally it went back to changing it. not sure if it helps but just thought you may want the info.

We have confirmed the issue with the cutting off sounds/wind pockets and the issue is going to be addressed in the future stages of development. As for the wind volume itself, the volume is intended to be at this level and there are no plans to change it at this moment, but there may be some changes to it in the future.

@Geez This is happened again,but before this is took 4-5 minutes,yesterday it was on 5-6 seconds. I think i changed distance or rendering in DayZ Config.

Those modded servers run on illegally obtained server files modified by the users themselves. We do not have the access to the databases on such servers and it is possible that the crashes occur due to the modifications done to the servers.
However, if it is possible, we still would like to take a look at the crash logs so if you can upload them to some kind of cloud site from which we can easilly access the files, please do.

Hello Geez, thanks for the response.
By the modded server i mean the servers that spawns you with gear or there are tents with loots and etc ... .
This for example is a server that spawns you instantly within the Northwest airfield and gives you gun and ammo for your gun

after a time since i posted this feedback i could try the game but it was the same , i only could play for about 20 minutes then everytime i joined the server i crashed and the crash text or should i say description changed to

Do you know what did help to resolve the issue for you (removing the contents of dayz folder in appdata or turning off some program running in the background?) so we can note that in case other users experience similar issues?

What do you mean by "private modded server"? As currently the private servers are being rented at various game server providers which provide only standard non modded servers (currently there are no official modding tools available). Either way, please upload the contents of your C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Local\DayZ folder to this ticket and also post the link to your Steam profile here + a server IP of one of the servers where you are experiencing the issue.

I tried to reproduce the bug but im not able to.
I tried throwing different things, found the blue childbriefcase and tried that and i also made the improvised backpack since i had it when the bug happend but it didn't work.
I tried to see if the order that i put on the backpack was the key (childbriefcase on the back, improvised backpack into hands, moving stuff from childbriefcase into improvised, swapping backpacks, throwing childbriefcase). I tried some other variants as well.
When i had the bug i was able to reproduce it every time i pressed G.

Yes, currently it is a client side feature. We will look into the issue with the wind sound suddenly dropping as shown on your video and also into the issue with the wind sound pockets you have mentioned. In case you manage to capture the wind sound pocket issue on a video, please post it in here as it would help us a lot in testing the issue.

This is totally random. I have observed it after installation of latest drivers of Radeon Graphics. Current version is 17.30.1071-170821a

How often do you experience this particular issue? Has the issue started to occur since certain patch or upon some changes in your computer or has it always been present in DayZ? Also, have you tried to turn off all running programs on your computer (including anti virus and similar) and then launch DayZ to check if that has any effect on the issue?

That is good to hear, is it true that that is a client side feature? I am not really sure if it is the same place since it seems to happen in random pockets in the woods, mostly on the west side of the map. but there are been times where I have turned around and the dead spot is still there, when I hit it the sound drop instantly and then when I get through it the sound slowly returns. I will have to keep an eye out and keep track of where spots are and log them for you. The link below is a video where the wind was lighter but then dropped volume, it was still there but it was a drop, not the best example but this was close to the tents in the west. sorry I have the game volume down so much compared to my mic but viewers complain about the wind sound so I have to have the game volume low, so you will probably have to have your volume up, lol.

The issue with the wind not being sychnronised between the clients is known and currently works as intended (this may change for the future stages of development). As for the other issues, could you try to make a video of those pockets with no ambient sound that you are experiencing? Also, do the pockets always appear in the same place or do you experience them at various places?
