Update. Yesterday this started working again, and BattlEye stopped blocking the TrackIR dll, so it's possible something has solved this. TrackIR was not updated and this was prior to the latest update released today, so I don't know if BattlEye itself resolved it? I will monitor for a few more days then consider it resolved.

To add to this, restarting also recreates any demolished structures, such as roadblocks and walls, and also any disarmed or exploded mines are recreated, so cleared minefields reappear as active.
I couldn't even shoot them last time I tried.
Ideally a Filofax, to keep with the period setting.
Video take on Arland, near the SW lighthouse, but can be reproduced anywhere on non-level ground. This was EX 1.3 but same occurs in the main release as well. No mods.
So, could the code be updated so they spawn in gear? That might solve it.

Just been testing some more, and it does seem the trucks do spawn with the handbrake technically applied. However the end result is still the same. When on a slope, the truck will often roll away.
Id be happy with using explosives to remove structures, but some parts cannot be removed (gun emplacements, camo netting some bits of road furniture, even a buried tyre.) Plus, you can remove enemy structures when capturing bases with the shovel, but some parts are just hard coded to be non-removable, despite having the menu prompt to do so.).
This is still happening in 1.2.1.189, when will this be resolved?

Example of problem on sloping ground.
US drives at US friendly AI. The AI make no response to the oncoming vehicle and just stand there and get run over.

Update. If you have a bipod and deploy it, then it corrects the error. However that only works with a bipod, the problem remains otherwise.

Canting should not exist like this ever. A trained soldier/marksmen would hold the rifle upright otherwise zeroing would be pointless and the aim messed up. This really needs a fundamental fix so that weapons are held upright regardless of the angle of the ground underneath.

I agree, the light levels are too extreme. If inside a dark room it ramps up the outside light levels to a really excessive level. It effectively reacts how a digital camera would react, not how a human eye would. This doesn't happen like that in real life.

Also tested in gamemaster mode as well, same thing happens.
I have done further testing, I think it may be more reproducable.
I notice this most often happens when entering a vehicle, and then interacting with the vehicle cargo.
Suggested steps.
Enter vehicle, and drive
Open inventory, and swap some items around to/from the cargo area.
Exit the vehicle and test you can reload weapons, swap weapons or pick up /drop items.

I am trying this, not working for me either. Sometimes holding the shift key or alt key allows some changes with the mouse wheel, but it is both erratic in effect and direction, with the mouse wheel randomly causing the frequency to rise or fall, regardless of wheel movement direction, and it is nigh on impossible to set a desired frequency.

This would be really useful. It would allow to switch from tracers trto AP rounds for instance, or swap HE to flares for night illumination. Doing it through the inventory is haphazard and if you have more than one type of mag/shell there is on consistancy as to which one is picked currently.

Reinstalled server and client from scratch on the Alienware.
Reinstalled windows completely on the Mac Pro.

Update. When reloading the gun, the headtracker begins working again, thjen stops once the reload is completed. Otherwise trackIR remains inoperative in the turret.

Happens consistently now. Server deletes all AI after a number of hours runtime. It's no longer worth running as it's not possible to complete the game. Have tried completely reinstalling all server files from scratch, no change.
