Car doors inconsistentcy.

The issue appears to be linked to skipping the door animation while exiting.
If i get out and let the closing animation play, upon getting back in my character will close the door every time. If i skip the animation and then get back in my character does not close the door automatically ever. IF however i close the door first, and then get back in i will automatically close the door.

Inconsistent at best, downright dangerous at worst.

Many players don't actually realize/care that you can let the door close on exit and will just get out as quick as possible no matter the situation, often skipping the animation.
Which leads to most cars having doors left open on exit... Which leads to players getting back in and their doors not closing automatically... Which leads to players having to find the 'close prompt', or just say F it and leave them open... Add doors now having physicality... Which means those doors now clip something at speed and the whole car spins out or causes a wreck.
Multiply this by every squad and every single time you get in and out.
It's a behavioral mess that will get many people killed over something stupid.

We just need consistent and simple door behavior and it seems like a silly issue to continue to have.

The only vehicle where the doors can collide with the environment is the UAZ 452 van, which according to a DEV is not meant to be. You can close the doors now by pressing Z. Some players leave the door open to exit the vehicle faster if they have to. I don't think the severity of this is major tbh.

Well my main point was just having door consistency. i was not aware that door closing has now been bound to Z that is good to know. Though that also kinda adds to my point. X to get out, Z to close, F to open or close with prompt... but not too far over to the other prompt or you accidentally (get out). I should not have to remember all that just to get in and out. I am an advocate for accessibility and using different ways to solve the same problem, but at some point you can over complicate the action especially on something as seemingly simple as getting in and out of a car.

As far as car doors having physicality with the UAZ 452, i actually like it for the future and feel that doors should interact with the world; but they should be physics based and swinging, or the player should be holding it open with an animation. If they do hold it open they could get hurt/die on impacts like we would expect IRL, but they could get out extra extra fast. Risk reward and comedy at the same time.
But for real doors getting knocked off and/or more visible vehicle damage, i think players would appreciate the extra attention to detail. It would also be funny to open a door into someone/FIA as you drive by like in the movie tropes.
