Also the head is locked while digging / dying (Uncon) / animation it was normally in freelook but by tapping alt it will go back to freelook again. Something seems reversed since the update.
If you press alt it will still recenter but wont lock at all. Hopefully we find a workaround for now or quick hotfix.
The same problem. TrackIR was mainly used in vehicles, but now it's almost impossible and pointless to use it.
Note that
Tracked vehicles (e.g., APCs, tanks)
are not vanilla assets.

This is a major issue IMO.
It happens on the worst moments, when you need to react fast to prevent losing control, avoid a collision, get unstuck fast, unflip a vehicle.
This is why it is the most annoying bug currently in the game for me.
Patch 1.4 fixed all the issues I had with TrackIR. Zoom sensitivity, binoculars unwanted freelook and ADS alignment issues were all fixed.
You can change the sensitivity in settings like noktrum said. Around x10 sensitivity in game makes head tracking behave the same as before, no need to tweak TrackIR settings.
The zoom inside helicopters is working fine for me.
I have a temporarily solution - in game head tracking setting sensitivity must be push all way up and same for track ir software - between 1.5 and 2 sensitivity. This returns the head tracking in game, however, zoom inside helicopters still not working.
BI could start with just disabling Armavision by default and let server admins then choose if to enable it by some config setting.

We have found out this is related to MSAA 2x option in the settings (Hardware anti aliasing in video settings).
Can you try to change this setting to something else and report if this still occurs?

Yep, i agree, but it's not the best implementation of IRL behaviour. It's a clear bug. There are ways to make it more realistic and random.
