We don't need the executable, but a report generated by it:

1. From the desktop click: Start > Run...
2. In the 'Open' text field of the Run window that appears type “dxdiag” without the quotes. Press OK.
3. Another window should appear titled DirectX Diagnostic Tool. Near the bottom of the window click on “Save All Information…” A popup should appear with a progress bar, this may take a few minutes.
4. After it completes a dialog should appear asking you where to save the file.
5. Save the file and upload it here

Resolution_W=XXXX;

so the number is the pixel width of your screen, and the lines

Resolution_H=XXXX;
Render_H=XXXX;

so the number is the pixel height of your screen.

My screen is 1920x1080 so my config looks like:
Resolution_W=1920;
Resolution_H=1080;
Render_W=1920;
Render_H=1080;

At the main menu, click Configure -> Video -> User Interface and use the Resolution drop down list to select your resolution.

Make sure the Aspect Ratio option matches the aspect ratio of your resolution.

Close the config settings completely and return to the main menu.

Then open Config again, click Video and then select your resolution from the Rendering Resolution drop down list.

This should return your game back to normal resolution.

I would appreciate it if you didn't keep bumping this issue like you are doing.

There's almost 10,000 open tickets on the tracker, most of which deserve just as much attention as this one. Pushing down crash reports and actual bugs to keep your suggestion on top just seems a little unfair.

Also, as others have mentioned, every time you update you cause the server to send out emails notifying people of the changes which can be quite annoying.
