I experience memory leak that causes the game to crash.

At start Dayz uses approx 700 MB Ram, when i play it keeps eating more and more and after ~1hr30min it uses 3,5 GB Ram and crashes. Right before the crash the game starts to freeze a bit.
I have 6 GB Ram installed, other programs uses ~2 GB.

This started to happen a week back or so, nothing to do with the latest patch as far as i know. Playing on Stable branch.

Haven't tried to reinstall the game, other games work well.

I'm not really sure how to solve this.

Hi, i think you can close this ticket.
Problem seems to be solved for me.

The issue was that my GPU has 1280 MB vram, and the video memory setting in Dayz was for some reason set to 2048 MB.
I've turned it back to Auto and now it seems to be working fine.

Played for 4-5 hours now without any crash, and the RAM usage seems to stay on normal levels.

Seems strange to me that the RAM usage kept going up because of my video memory setting.
Maybe this "solution" can help others.

i have uploaded the dump2.zip, crash in the middle of the game with error message ragarding to memory, sorry, i forgot to take a screenshot. version 0.51 stable

had this problem yesterday also twice for the first time.

i have 16gb and GPU 3GB, but didn't encounter any special Frame Drops, also the GPU didn't seem to be to full.

now i got dumps and screenshot of the error, memError.zip - it says: "Out of memory (requested -1950362 KB). footprint [...]KB. pages [...]KB." ---requesting a negative amount of memory???
