The report has been added.
btw. This new troubleshooting function is awesome, nice work!
Woups, for some reason the error was submited twice, please there this one: http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=26429
Well, Arma takes place in year 2035 - so I guess Arma 3s newer version of the Huron is able to land on water ;)
Video/same problems: http://www.reddit.com/r/arma/comments/2cuxfk/a_funny_rotorliba3_dev_branch_bug/
Any way to get to know which mod is responsible for that?
Yeah of course, a bunch of mods. Are they the reason for the loading time?
Thanks for your time! :)
It only happens when I start this mission file, if I play on the same blank map, everything works. I cant remember what essential part of the mmission I edited last so that it does not work anymore. I never had a crash like this before. I cant disable the mods because they are required for the missionfile (attachted to this ticket).
+1! BI please listen to that feedback
In which relation Marek said that? And for what reason ?
@RandomPlayer, its okay if they react and change their mode into aggresive and try to run away, but it should be possible to change their mode back into a friendly mode.
And another example, in Afghanistan the most civilian arent scared of soldiers.
Updated ticket, this problem isnt part of Zeus.
I also do not understand why you removed that function.
So after one year nothing changed - my DualCore is still at 100% when I'm in lobbys and I have massive laggs.
Its embarissing to see that you havent changed anything after one year as you said "we are still trying to optimise the Server list screen" and I'm pretty sure that this issue isnt caused by the Steamworks technology...
Alright, thanks for your time!
It wasnt improved in the latest version, any news yet?
Any news yet?
DXDIAG added.
I was using the GameSpy serverlist - now I updated to the dev build. I was not able to reproduce the problem because there are no dev servers with more than 5 players. So I joined a server with 5 players on and again a CPU utilization up to 90%. (this also happens by creating a local lan game)
But now there is one more problem: The steam serverlist does not stop loading servers, means the list is growing and growing and the CPU utilization is again at the limit (also when I use the gamespy list) (I attached a screenshot of the Taskmanager).
Hope the information are enought!
Kind regards
RPT added.
Guys take a look at the performance. To calculate the effect of wind to objects would cost to much performance, it would be enough if wind and waves would affect planes, helicopters (I am sure this will come with the new DLC) and also ships. Some enviroment effects like paper and leafes flying around the cities and streers would underline the effect of the weather.
@Benargee, I know him and his work. I just wanted to make sure that the script isnt the solution of this ticket.
@SaMatra: Why to have a function that needs to be called each frame if we could have a simple entry in the description.ext that alread disabled VON in certain channels as descripted above.
Think about performane, every little little little call of something needs resources.

Get ready guys, 3D Editor is incoming!
3D Editor confirmed by the dev team, see twitter: http://i.imgur.com/UvTvlW9.png

The developer of MCC showed us and expecially you BI, how easy it tis to change Zeus into a 3D editor. Zeus just needs a button to export all createt objects and units into a mission sqm file. Thats it!
@all: Alternative good working solution: Download MCC, start editor, login into MCC, close it and go into Zeus mode, place objects ect and leave the Zeus mode, open MCC again, click save&load and save it as SQM. Now the code of the SQM file is saved into your clickboard and you can paste it into a mission SQM file. Is a good solution until BI is finished with the 3D Editor.
