the same crash seems to happen after lagging while playing mp on the server,i get the yellow chain and after roughly 20 seconds crash

I had the same problem after todays hotfix to correct the launcher problems, my server is set up to automatically run a server update if there is one available but for some reason it did not update, after updating the server it does not give the "Verifying PBO Failed" message.

Now I am getting PBO failed to verify on when trying to join server. There are currently other players in the server as well.
I see I may not be posting the only report in this regard. Any update, suggestions, workaround, why this does not just work?
Ok, this one is fixed and I'm able to get into the game but now I'm not able to join any servers. Dosn't matter if the Server has Mods or not.
UPDATE: It appears they hot fixed it. I got a quick update on steam. My mod menu has now appeared and am currently redownloading mods without the launcher crashing.

Same problems. Tried to update drivers, safemode, reinstalling, third party launchers and nothing works, even the game crashes when I make it launch.
Same problem. If I select the active mods and start the game directly (not via the server browser in the launcher) and use the in-game server browser to join, then I can join a server with the same mods activated. But if I try to use the A3 launcher to "sync" activated mods from the server then the A3 launcher crashes with a similar exception log generated to the windows desktop.

yes, it was only cap. I've somehow mistake it by that merged task. Perhaps in future Type-115 will be fixed too
After further examination of the issue and given that a day (more of less) has passed since the update, I have noticed that one by one the servers are becoming green again, and those that require no mods I can join without problems. But those that require mods still crash the launcher.

Uhh, excuse me, you guys have fixed the cap model not the issue itself? I've thought you've done the entire fix but just tested but 2.14 does still have the issue, as far as I tried, Type 115 does.
when i try to join a server where no mods can be used the game closes...before i could join anyway.
if i deactivate the mods it lets me in but as soon as i enter everything elses goes on and can't move.
And if try to regenerate later i regenerate underground and i can't move.
Everything has always worked before without giving these problems.

One of the players on my server also reported an issue with the launcher.

Workaround works fine but only when I put arma3launcher.resources.dll to both "en-us" and your language ("ru-ru" in my case) folders. After that I got error about missing Ultra settings and fonts in launcher has been changed to funny ones but I successfully connected to server. Tested with 4 teammates - working the same way for all.
Very cool to see in patch 2.14. The notes mention doing this for muzzle / weapon configuration, would the config look like what I have quoted?

Being able to add custom textures to helmets / vests via script without a full mod would be very useful.
Retested this setup with 2.14 and 2.15 and issue still persists - only rvmat that was set up in p3d is affected by damage and all hiddenSelection materials are ignored.
If its any help, I've managed to quantify the shot deviation. It is 0.5 milliradians to the right.

The A3 default map is only a "digital" map if you have a GPS. The actual Map item is very clearly a paper map. And we now have plenty of CDLCs and such with maps that are definitely not digital, because digital maps hadn't been invented yet.

I don't think that is gonna happen. Apps/Libraries have to submitted to apple and approved for Notarization. You also have to hardened-runtime exception entitlements, and sign every shared library that it your application uses.
