Hello,
Yes, it still crashes with the same error code.
Update:It starts with the dev. version. Maybe I forgot to reboot or something...
Thank you for the help!
Hello,
thank you for your feedback.
Are you still experiencing these issues with the latest Steam Dev version?
Ah, Koala, that's DC offset then.
It's the fault of the old wav->wss converter of bohemia. This will be fixed soon I believe.
This is now fixed on latest dev branch (04-02-2016)
I marked the ticket as resolved. According to the ticket author, the issue got fixed.
@cater182: I found a good video which explains what I am talking about. I am talking about the "echo" part ((but not the subtle "pop" seconds after the shot). Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FA31qbHwWPQ
The popping sou d he means is not really a popping sound it seems to be a noise and when the sound end the noise ends in a pfft. Just my suggestion.
Hi.
A sound guy here.
The popping is 100% baked into the tail, it's supposed to be a reflection off of a surface, like an echo. Unfortunately only into one side of it so it sounds weird and creates confusion (as we see in this ticket).
Here is the offending MX tail, played in forest areas. The left and right channels are switched but that's a bug within the audio engine.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/ai8fvd3o0c23j2n/MX_tailForest.mp3?dl=1
Sound familiar?
The way to fix is is to create a new tail sound for the MX, should be simple enough.
New Video, notice how the echo fades out, but the pop stays same volume.

Popping is present in stable also.
I can't tell, if we both speak of the same effect. You told about a popping sound a second after you fired your weapon. In your video you are shooting to often to tell the difference.
Maybe you can upload a video where you can show (with a popping dot) when the audio problem starts after each shot. Fire some single rounds with three seconds delay that everybody knows what you are meaning.
And don't forget: The enhanced new weapon sounds still are work in progress.
I disagree, but I know what your saying. no other weapon is making that distinctive popping sound after shots are fired in certain areas, turn your volume up a bit more and you can tell it's not an echo. I'm sure someone else has noticed this.
That "audio popping" is an ambient sound reflection of the explosion sound of your gun.
Example: If you ignite a fire cracker in an empty area with buildings around, you will first hear the explosion and a short moment later a second but little bit damped explosion. The second explosion is the reflected sound of the surroundings.
it is nothing more than a simple echo in the weapons tail.
Please visit the forum of the creators (Sa-matra) of "King of the Hill" if you have a problem with that multiplayer mode.
As far as I know, you will get compensation points if the system forces you to change the team.
But...King of the Hill isn't an official ArmA 3 gamemode.....is it?
I think that the Arma dev cannot do anything for you.....
So you want team balancing? Why didn't you say that with one sentence?
Oh dear. User error. Script passes a nested array to function.
Please disregard.
In the upcoming Eden 3D editor you are able to select the loadout (with the Arsenal) for each unit.
Even a loadout editor for vehicles and all kind of storage boxes are available.
I closed the ticket because it is a duplicate.
@TakeHomeTheCup Sometimes you want to control what equipment the player/ai have.
Is this any different from the arsenal? You can use the arsenal in Eden.
Hello, this "issue" has already got its own ticket: #0000716
A little advice: Cursing is not the key
Hello, thanks for your response.
Do your TV and Laptop both support the same resolution (e.g 1920*1080)?
If your TV supports a different resolution than your display of your Laptop, there might be the reason of the issue.
If this is tha case, try to set both displays to the same resolution.
If you want to use your TV because it has a higher resolution than your Laptop, you have to set the TV as the primary display.
Hello, please try following:
After the launcher opened, go to the basic settings and mark following entry:
No Splash (bypass the splash screens on startup of Arma 3)
optional: Skip Intro (disables world intros in the main menu permanently)
That will probably shorten the boot time for Arma 3.
I have done what you suggested, but I think that I've found the issue; I forgot to mention that I have my laptop displaying on my Samsung TV through a HDMI lead. I tried loading Arma 3 without it plugged into my TV and it loaded fine. I've then tried to load Arma 3 with my laptop plugged into my TV and I get the same problem as before. However, I can load Arma 3 without being plugged into my TV, then once it has loaded I can plug in the HDMI lead and it plays fine. I'm not sure why this happens, as the screen is just being duplicated, but so far this is the cause of my issue.
Thanks for your help.
Fixed in 1.57.134365.
I forwarded the problem to the development team.
Even if they NEED to have a file with the data to save to run the mission, they could simply make a copy of the mission file (with the changes done to it) temporarily to use rather than overwriting the original. Then when you go back into editor, it simply deletes the second file and nothing happens to the original.
I can confirm that behaviour too. That should not happen.
As far as I can see, the game already creates a file called tempMissionSP after you placed some stuff and clicked on preview.
But once you created a savegame, the tempMissionSP file got ignored by the system and the actual savegame is used.
Great ;)
Numeric values were accidentally saved as integers, not floats. Should be fixed in the next update.
Hello,
we are sorry for the trouble you are having.
It seems the game is unable to initialize a graphical subsystem.
Possible solutions:
-Update the graphics card drivers to a newer version.
-Rollback the graphics card drivers to an older version.
-Check the temperature of your GPUs and CPUs.
-Disable the Steam Overlay.
Please let us know if any of this have helped.
Thank you.
Hello, I know that you want to share your ideas with the development team and the community, but I don't believe that the feedback tracker is the right place for.
There is one rule to retain the overview: Feedback reports should ideally be clear and not too long.
Please use the forums to discuss your requests: https://forums.bistudio.com
Hello,
could you please try to switch to RC and see if the problem is still present?
You can find how to change to RC here:
http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?149411-How-to-change-Arma-3-branches-between-STABLE-amp-DEVELOPMENT-versions-STEAM-client
To be able to access the RC version, please use this Beta Access Code:

Thank you very much
Hello, please upload the latest crashdump files (rpt + mdmp + bidmp) and attach them to your ticket.
These files are located in: C:\Users\<Name>\AppData\Local\Arma 3\
Ok, I got your point.
My goal was to make that ticket acknowledged and forget about.
Suggested by you ticket is different. (prob at least dev team know why)
I don't want it to be the ticket with votes, I want that devs to see it.
Also I can't write this all in comments to that ticket you suggested, it's useless I believe. You can open it again or do whatever you want, I need only to development team revived this, thanks.
Don't get me wrong. I am not here to annoy random people. I am here to moderate the feedback tracker.
The existing ticket (#0012255) already has the idea of towing aircrafts.
You are able to discuss your visions/point of view in the ticket (how to implement it in the game).
You can also discuss and suggest a more detailed description and better subject of the ticket.
Maybe some day one of the developers might get attention of it and we will see a towing system in future updates.
But for now your two created tickets (#0027649 & #0027650) are just duplicates.
Please do not spam the feedback tracker with duplicates.

Jonzie Mega Mod Pack from steam workshop contains two trucks witch can tow several models of trailers. Without lags, bugs, glitches and damage. It allows me to guess that it is possible. New taxi system not uses it, witch is cool for real life and ArmA too
Hello,
this error message indicates that you have set "Run as admin" either for the arma3.exe or for the arma3battleye.exe
You should be able to start the game normally by disabling the Run as Administrator feature for these two exe files.
Let us know if this have helped.
Thank you
Done that. Tried - nothing. Game just hangs. Nothing happening.
When I start through Steam I get the same error like I posted ''Elevation of right needed'' or something like that. You have it in the last error report that I have sent.
I lost my hope.
Hello,
could you please verify your game files via Steam again and after that, please try to run your Arma as an admin.
Thank you
Btw, now at least game generates error report when it crash.
Here is the new error report:

Hello, please deactivate all modifications (e.g. Nam) and try to start the game again.
They are all deactivated. I even purged my mod directory. Still, nothing.
Hello,
are you experiencing crashes with this headset when you are running the game with no mods?
If so, please send us the crash dumps that are created when no mods are running.
Thank you
This is an USB headset am I right?
If this is the case, the headset has its own build-in soundcard.
Maybe the game just crashes because the headset is losing its connection now and then.
A simple solution might be to play the game with another headset or speakers for a couple of days. If the error still occurs there might be another reason for this error.
Okay so after playing 2 hours without any crash, I think we can say that the headset is the problem.
But now, the question is: Why the headset was crashing the game? (and I precise that ArmA is the only program on my computer which crash cause of the headset)
If needed, I think I can reproduce the issue by simply unplugging the jack (it would be like a cutted wire)
Also I'd like to apologize for all my english mistakes, english isn't my native linguish.
Yes but actually there is no proof to say that the mods are the problem. I've repaired my headset today and i'm going to see if the crash still occur or not.
Sorry for the duplicate thread, but there was a bug when I tried to directly upload my files and it seems it publish it twice.
Hello, the developers of Arma 3 are not responsible for mod related problems.
