Description

After rolling through the Arma 3 and Bohemia Interactive screens, the screen remains black and does not proceed to the main menu page. This issue happens often, happened 6-7 times in the last 3 days, but sometimes the game loads fine and fully playable with no issues. {F27930}

Hello, please try following:

After the launcher opened, go to the basic settings and mark following entry:

No Splash (bypass the splash screens on startup of Arma 3)
optional: Skip Intro (disables world intros in the main menu permanently)

That will probably shorten the boot time for Arma 3.

I have done what you suggested, but I think that I've found the issue; I forgot to mention that I have my laptop displaying on my Samsung TV through a HDMI lead. I tried loading Arma 3 without it plugged into my TV and it loaded fine. I've then tried to load Arma 3 with my laptop plugged into my TV and I get the same problem as before. However, I can load Arma 3 without being plugged into my TV, then once it has loaded I can plug in the HDMI lead and it plays fine. I'm not sure why this happens, as the screen is just being duplicated, but so far this is the cause of my issue.

Thanks for your help.

Hello, thanks for your response.

Do your TV and Laptop both support the same resolution (e.g 1920*1080)?

If your TV supports a different resolution than your display of your Laptop, there might be the reason of the issue.

If this is tha case, try to set both displays to the same resolution.

If you want to use your TV because it has a higher resolution than your Laptop, you have to set the TV as the primary display.
