Arma 3 Activity

@Astaroth I uploaded my files
unfortunately I can not reproduce this in one way, but it happends a lot. sometimes it runs 30 min then just 5 min at different situations
ok I can reproduce them as much as you want in my last crash report ticket although I did it later
http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=17131
Same problem here, after the "Beyond Recognition" Mission on "Adapt" Episode it started to randomly crash.

Issue has been happening to me the last few weeks as well. I have tried updating my NVIDIA drivers, adjusting video settings, removing mp cache content, validating local cache. My crash report / dxdiag are located here:

@Yakkers: If you have any crashdump files in your folder, could you please upload them? Crashdump is .rpt file, .bidmp file and .mdmp file. Thank you.
@amooei: We look on every reported crash, but fix is not easy always. It depends on reproducibility and on informations in crashdump.
For others: Create own reports please, every crash should have own report. If description sounds similar, it is not mean, that is same crash. It can be, but it is know after analysing crashdump not sooner.
Thank you.
Thanks, updated it
yes I have your problem too from time of game releasing I just reported more than 20 crashes and in best they just assigned them!
they never look at them and are unable to fix!
BI we will never support you as you choose this way although this game is awesome but it's definitely unplayable!!!
Attaching your specs would be a good idea. Run dxdiag, save and upload. A Windows Error says literally nothing about any crash reasons.
Also, uploading the arma3.rpt is a good idea. You can find it under C:\Users\YourName\Appdata\Local\ArmA3\
Same problem, but mostly on CTI and coop missions,
As far as I know, all controls are rebindable. I don't use a controller, so I don't know wheter or not you can rebind the controler-controls, but it should be possible.
Still in 1.22.

yes it's solved now
Thanks a lot for the feedback! It seems like the issue has been already fixed, could You, please, give it a go and close it if it works correctly for You?
I just uploaded Arma 3(7).rar after a crash and analyzed log informations of GPU and CPU temperatures they never reached more than 60 fegrees so it doesn't seems the problem is overheating of my system.
please help!
I just uploaded Arma 3(8).rar
temperature CSV file:
the problem is fixed now after upgrading ma RAM system. the game can use memory up to 2 gig and sometimes I had no enough space so crash happened.
you need to mention minimum system requirments for 4 gig of RAM not 2 gig!
Hello,
can I resolve this ticket then as you are no longer experiencing the problem?
You will need to look for some more specific software then, and it depends on your hardware too. Some of tools works better than others.
Couple of links to start :)
https://www.google.cz/search?q=overlay+temperature+cpu+gpu+freeware&oq=overlay+temperature+cpu+gpu+freeware&aqs=chrome..69i57.8306j0j7&sourceid=chrome&espv=210&es_sm=93&ie=UTF-8#q=overlay+temperature+cpu+gpu
CpuZ does not show info about temperature of devices can I know which option of this tool can help me?
thanks
I just uploaded ''temperature'' file which shows temperature of my GPU and CPU cores during play on some heavy workshop scenario on altis map. although no crash happened during this play for me but as you see temperature never reached more than 50 degrees (rarely 51) and crashes happen suddenly so it does not seems only in a few seconds before crash, temperature can reach an unstable situation like 100 or more degrees.
anyway I will analyze it again if any crash happened.
thanks
ok I will analyze that whether temp increases righ before crash or not, thanks please keep on with me as I report this
also steam Integration showed ''all data validated successfully''
It would be good to confirm temperature during the performance drops just before crash. Maybe screen overlay with temperatures would help.
Thanks for the info. It seems it could be a problem with hardware overheating. Were you checking the temperature of cpu and gpu after those 2 hours of gaming?
I suggest CpuZ http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html and some AMD tools.
yes I did it before when I was playing after 1 hours I just used Alt+Tab and then quickly opened razer game booster for watching my cpu and gpu temp they was normal less than 50 deg
nothing helpful yet?
Crashdumps are still same. I gave crashdumps to our programmers for analyze. I hope, that they will find something more.
I uploaded dxdiag for my system specs
and pics from my video settings screen
I'll provide more info if you need
thanks
crash Arma 3(6)
I need additional data:
- system specs, cpu, gpu
- game and graphics settings
Also, please make sure to check integrity of the files on Steam. Supposedly the crashes happened in random situations, but if there was something common between those (anything, literally), it would be a good clue also.
I reproduced crash Arma 3(2).rar
I reproduced crash Arma 3(3).rar
I reproduced crash Arma 3(4)& Arma 3(5).rar
ok I can produce as much as you want since these crashes regulary happenes!
I looked on your crashdump and nothing helpful is inside. Do you have more crashdump please? Thank you.
i wasnt sure where to put it. but i guess youre right this would be more accurate. thanks
i would change your ticket, this doesn't fall under the category "design-sandbox" - it belongs in the "Campaign Episode 2 - Adapt" category
Oh, sorry, I thought it was made by someone else because it was in Czech.
BIS is not responsible for 3rd party missions.
/downvoted
Hes talking about one of the side missions during the "Adapt" campaign, its not a 3rd party mission.
I have never seen the bug on 2014-01-30_00002, but the other one is not fixable because of the way your body is rendered in the game (at least I think so).
Open Map - Team - Pick Soldier - Inventory
There could be a more convenient way though
I will try via menu but i wonder why they blocked it trought the action menu. My first thought is they probably blocked it as view only for the story campaign
You can already do that, as pointed out by Grumpy Old Man.

Problem still exists...
I don't know if this has even been reviewed. This issue is pretty critical to simplified load balancing on a dedicated environment.
What is with this problem... nobody?!?

Oh right. Quick looks may give bad results.
I wasn't talking about the comment "assumed fixed correctly", I was talking about the issue history below the comment section. This: http://i.imgur.com/6MSYTgN.png
"Assumed fixed correctly". Only because no update on the issue.
The previous ticket: http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=11943
The issue history says it was marked fixed on 12/02
could be intended functionality, even if misleading, closing
This must be because when commenting on ticket marked as feedback, "Status" field has 2 options in drop down menu for the original poster: "new" and "assigned" and assigned is selected by default. So by simply submitting a comment, status is changed to assigned.

It should be fixed in actual version.
fixed in DEV 116103

seems fixed in latest dev
I also have this issue on both offroad which inherit from the 'I_G_Offroad_01_F' class. The JIP process is unable to get the global variables assigned to these vehicles.
I am on stable, server on PERF 3 binaries (1.18.124360)
I installed a dedicated server (Branch: Stable Version: 1.18.124200) on my PC and was unable to reproduce the issue. So apparently this is working now.
However I noticed this problem (setvariable with global broadcast not working) is still occurring randomly. Yesterday, I noticed the issue on a dedicated server. The setvariable command didn't work on "b_supplycrate_f" for one player only (we were 4 players in total). I asked the player to reconnect and after he did the server broadcasted the variable correctly (I didn't reexecute the setvariable command before or after he reconnected).
I tested the issue with "b_supplycrate_f" again too and I couldn't reproduce it either. It looks like something random.
I do still see this randomly. I have't set up a sand box to test the details of it grain by grain (I will work on doing that shortly), but could this have anything to do with the setObjectTextureGlobal bug? (http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=18748)
Are you still observing this issue? I am unable to reproduce this in current dev build. Thanks
I have been seeing this issue as well. It seems like it actually is becoming more prominent and annoying though.
