After testing step by step, I discovered that the reason units weren't responding to the addForce function was because they had already been killed (this was an issue with my mod). So the conclusion is: addForce doesn't work on units that have just been killed — it takes a few seconds before it starts working normally. During that time, even executing _man awake true has no effect. Sorry for wasting your time. I think this case can be closed.

Here are the conclusions from my further testing:
Here is a repoduction showing how it can be done. The game has been launched with no mods and default parameters.

The error comes from steam and the error message is "STEAM_API_DLL TODO"
I don't know what's wrong, I cannot reproduce it when I update my own workshop mods. I don't know how to fix it if I can't even see what's actually wrong.
We also added native ultrawide handling a year or two a go
description.ext goes into missions, not mods.
That is caused by https://feedback.bistudio.com/T192972
Please check that you are running the latest steam client available for windows 7.
It sounds like your issue is actually caused by outdated steam client.
I know there is a newer version available on windows 7 that does work
Please follow this to provide the files we need https://feedback.bistudio.com/w/ft_a3_howto/gamecrash/
allDiarySubjects does the same.
Yeah, fair enough. I just thought it was a weird bug so I felt like I might as well report it.
This is probably because the landAt command was partially broken. Its fixed in the latest profiling branch I assume that fixes this too.
Again, the reported issue only occurs in local mp and sp environments
it throws up a warning (attached)
Nothing is attached.
Need a repro mission
caliber decides how much a projectile decelerates when penetrating. Less caliber == less deceleration == can penetrate further.
Update your game.
It sounds like your game cannot save to your "My documents" folder.
Inside the Arma launcher, go to Parameters. Under All Parameters/Advanced you will find "Profile Directoy", create some new directory somewhere for the game to store its data in.
Then try if it works then

You can keep using them if you disable BattlEye.
They were abused for cheating, so now everyone has to suffer because of them.

Also there is error message, actionarea mempoint not exist in vanilla planes as far as I could see
Error: Invalid memory point 'actionarea' provided to attachTo on shape 'a3\air_f_epc\plane_cas_01\plane_cas_01_f.p3d' ➥ Context: [] L71 (A3\Functions_F_Jets\Functions\Ejection\fn_PlaneEjectionFX.sqf)
It requires vehicle sensors to be enabled in order to function. In some missions, player resurrection can also cause this phenomenon
Actually, using disableAI "MOVE" is not a solution because the character cannot collide with objects anymore.

Still impossible to complete the mission Salient Force without NATO ruining the "collateral damage" objective. Any progress on this issue?
Being called a war criminal for NATO mistakes is quite frustrating...
Nevermind, problem solved using disableAI "MOVE3
You're right—the pine camouflage beret and cap textures look noticeably lower-res compared to the updated uniforms. A texture update would really improve consistency, just like upgrading to Truck Simulator unlimited money boosts the whole gameplay experience!

I find it hard to understand the implications of all this, since I don't understand Arma3 scripting. What does this all mean? Problem cannot be fixed?
For ejection seats one of the tasks is indeed to evacuate pilot at zero altd. & zero speed
A zero-zero ejection seat is designed to safely extract upward and land its occupant from a grounded stationary position (i.e., zero altitude and zero airspeed), specifically from aircraft cockpits. source WIKI

Revision: 153035
Thats why I am asking for the *exact* repro, so I can recreate it on my side
Confirmed! Seems to be working now! (profiling 2.20.153025)
Seems to be fixed in profiling 2.20.153025!
Seems to be also fixed in Revision: 152992

I tested now pure vanilla even cba3 not loaded and the issue persists.
After a long email chain with steam, the support tech apparently looked at some logs somewhere and believes without a doubt that it is an issue with the publisher application.
I tried Hemmt with Huron Ammo Container, the warning sound plays and No Space message is displayed.
Tue, Jul 1
Steps to reproduce. I place a vehicle which is viv capable in the editor. Eg. cargo version of Hemmt. Then i place eg. cup c.130 in the editor and drag that with mouse on top of the Hemmt. The icon goes orange as previous, but the audible feedback sound and the text promt informing that loading failed due "no room in vehicle" dont occure as previously happened.
All vehicles. Vanilla and modded.
