Confirmed, it's tied to what Kju thought it was. I wiped all PBOs from my missions folder and it is gone.
Replacing with a new profile didn't fix the issue. Kju seems to think that it's tied to the following ticket: http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=19121
Correction, the reproduce steps are the following:
miss with a PCML when attempting to take out the helicopter from the house on the hill with the windmills.
try to reload from autosave
*crash*
try to open scenarios
*crash*
I can reproduce on my end as well. It might possibly be a regression of #0013034
I personally would love to see this.
It works now, thanks!

It seems to me like it's stalling on a specific mission file, but I'm not sure which one. If I unsubscribe from a good chunk of the missions, it works fine, but for some reason, at some point, it dies when I subscribe to a lot of missions. Would it be possible to echo out to the rpt file which missions are being loaded, followed by if they are successfully loaded, so that it would be easier to find the culprit and see if there's anything in that mission in the workshop that would lead to the bug?

It doesn't look very useful though.
I have gotten the same crash, link to logs below:

I have a feeling this ticket is for teh lulz.
Maybe I didn't phrase this properly. Allowing someone to be able to do that is a problem because you can't turn your head that far in real life. Furthermore, you are just acting like a troll, and won't win anyone over with this kind of behaviour. I strongly suggest cutting the name calling, as it doesn't help your case at all, and just makes *you* look like an asshole.
The current method is more realistic. This would cause a lot of issues in dogfighting with people using external views to see their sixes.
It might be useful for covert ops missions, upvoted.
And don't mind John, from what I've seen he's just a troll.
Was he under a cardboard box?
Seriously however, this should be fixed.
That's not the point of this, and that could be accomplished using pixel and vertex shaders/the supershader. The point of this is to allow for modders to create custom materials that use the geometry and tessellation shaders to do things such as create procedural geometry on the GPU, similar to a normal map.
Furthermore, just because Stratis is based on Greece doesn't mean someone won't create an Afghanistan based map, upvoted.
No worries, I just at times like to joke around a bit. There was some discussion going on in Skype, but I think this has to do with the AI, not the module. The repro mission doesn't use modules.
The theory I was testing with the repro mission was that it was framerate related. The repro mission brings my system to a crawl. Ironically I was only trying to screw around when I made that mission.
I just attached a repro mission. Initially AI will go in to combat, but later on nobody wants to shoot anybody as frame rate drops, while I confirmed that the Iranians still have plenty of ammo.
It was happening out in the wild on the south eastern part of the island. It appears to have been the AI module, as this only happened with groups of 2-3 enemy men.
I'm not sure then, in my opinion it's worth looking more in to though.
Edit: I was playing the mission alone, with nothing but AI backing me up, trying to skirt around the south east end of the island.
I'm actually getting the exact opposite. I can be standing right in front of one of them and they don't shoot me.
