Thank you Adam,
I ran it with no mods and it was good to go.
I will go through each and every mod (a lot of them) and identify which one is killing HC.
HC is one of my favorite parts of ARMA.

Thank you Adam,
I will do this first thing tonight when I get home.
I was also thinking to turn off all mods.
But I have had this issue since the Alpha.
Sean
Did they add UAV's yet????????
Even after the latest patch/upload the AI for armored units is still very poor when it comes to a standard road march.
Would be nice if we had a better checkpoint/way-point system for planning our units movements and actions.
I just converted to DevBranch. The issue is still present. In fact, it is not just armor. It is any AI controlled vehicle. If you place an OPFOR tank plt. to the map and give it some way points. Half of the time the platoon will not make it to it's final destination. They will get stuck on some ground object and are unable to get off. This happens with any AI controlled vehicle. Also, there should be an option when planning your movement to order the units to move only on roads or off road as needed.
If I wanted comfort I would be playing an Air Force simulation LOL.
This is actually still a very real problem especially for rookie snipers and lazy enemies. Would be cool IF this game had a better camouflage hiding/ambush/surprise mechanism.
I retrired it on dirt and it was bad but not as bad. I think It was because I was laying on top of a broken door in a house on a beach. I think being on the door fragments wouldn't allow me a steady aim.
I will retry tonight.
But overall, I hope this is just an Alpha issue and will be addressed by the beta.
I do think the enemy should be throwing in anti swimmer grenades. And depth charges. taht would make it very dangerous and realistic. Upvote for sharks at least. but sharks are not that dangerous to divers as they are to swimmers. Unless your bleeding......
Or just make the fins an item like a helmet or goggles.
What it should really say is "War Sells"
or
...in Arma, everyone comes home....

I will buy three more copies of Arma 3 and a case of beer for the developer team if this is done. This is LONG overdue. One of the most obvious updates to this series. PLEASE VOTE FOR THIS!!!!!!!
You need to eat more carrots.
Seriously, it is very dark. I am thinking this will be addressed by Beta
This is called helocasting. It is a standard form of insertion for SOF. I did it but I had to be the pilot and the team was under my command. Could not get it scripted. This would be a great feature if it was standardized withen the game.
In American SOF we call this SPIE Rigging. Special Patrol Infiltraion and Exfiltration. You can do it wet or dry. It is used when a Helicopter can't land to drop you off, but they can't hang around long enough for you to repel. It is fast but extreamly dangerous. SPIE Rigging would be an awesome addition to this series. Normally, if you are using SPIE rigging you will fly to a spot, get out of the helo and attach to the line. Then get flow to the area, like really thick jungle, lower in and unhook, do your mission. Fun times!
Women have been on target for 10 years. It has only been made official recently. If this is a 'simulation' game and not a 'hobby niche' game, then it should be added to make this game more authentic.
I find it hysterical that guys who will never wear a uniform in their lives are arguing for no females in ARMA.
We now have the ability to communicate with each other and use the radio while in shallow water. So the ability to call for fires is realistic today, so I would assume it would be very doable in the year 2035.
YES. We need a limpet mine for our divers. These come as backpacks in real life. The diver swims to the target, his dive buddy, removes and places the mine to the ship, they set the dual timers and get the heck out of there. MUST HAVE IN ARMA 3.
I spent four years in a recon bn. I fired M16A2, M16A2/M203, SAW, BARRETA M9, MP-5, MEU(SOC).45 COLT 1911, and the M60E3.
I have yet to find any game to capture exacly how these weapons fired in my hands.
I do feel however, that the Arma series does not come close to my personal experiences. I am sure when the devlopers went to ranges to get the feel for how weapons work, this is how they experienced it.
Now maybe the developers can do 40 pulls ups and a hundred push-ups and their upper body strength is off the charts, but I kindly don't think so.
Soldiers have strong upper body's for a reason. One of reason is weapons handling and control.
This game doesn't represent it accuratly. doesn't mean the game isn't fun, after all it is a game, but no, it is not accurate.
Lets see if they decide to listen to the community and address it.
I would bring it down about half of what it is today.
IMHO
"NordKindchen"
"...Also since camouflage nowadays is not important anymore.."
This is probably one of the funniest/ignorant comments I have hears a very long time.
Thank you for the laughs!!!!! I almost pissed my self.
Most realistic sim ever???
It is a great game. But farm from the most realistic. The product they sell to the US Marine, now that is a far more realistic but still lacking...
How can I unsubscrip or un monitor this thread?
Why doesn't BIS hire the guys who did the ACE Mod and BAM Bobs your Uncle...
It seems they understood the idea of this game being a simulation.
I wonder how good the military simulators BIS builds for the military look...
