I experienced this as well twice today on Version 1.06.152829, once with duct tape and another time with leather sewing kit.
Reproduction steps: Repair an item in your hands twice, so that the amount of duct tape remaining goes from 100% -> 75% -> 50%.
After the second repair, when only 50% remain, the duct tape / leather sewing kit disappears entirely from your inventory. Logs:

Would it be possible for you to send us a screenshot of the error? And also, are you using wired connection or wifi?

I have had the same experience since 1.06 release. There is a known issue about it so I was surprised to learn this and yet the update still be released.

If you delete the contents of your C:\Users\*username*\Documents\DayZ folder, does the issue still occur?
If so, please make sure all your software drivers are up to date. and then upload the full contents of your C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Local\DayZ folder and a dxdiag file from your computer.
The folder is hidden by default, so you will have to enable hidden files and folders in Windows in case you haven't done that yet. this is not the same folder as the documents folder

have you tried to contact the Teamspeak support directly? As it possibly could be an issue on their side. Also, if does Teamspeak use any kind of in game overlay, can you try to disable it to see if it has any effect on the issue?

Hi, I updated to 1.06 for Dayz. I then opened up the dayz mod launcher and the following error message came up "Dayz server mismatch. The dayz version 1.06 doesnt match the local version 1.5.152636." I'm hoping you can help. Thanks

and it happends with any item in game, not just guns

i used BEC before. It still works but I want to stop using this kind of program. Bohemia now has Whitelist by default but with problems unfortunately.

Take other way:

They will just say they are working on it and no updates, there is no point in asking...

Managed to log in my one character with the missing helmet on menu and the helmet is indeed gone in-game (community server). Server shut down right after I logged in so barely able to check it.

Summing up my ticket: Whitelist updates on time but every time he adds / removes a user he kicks everyone online. I don't think it would be right to do that.

I tested it now by removing a random player (not online) and did not kick. I tried to put it back on and when I saved it kicked everyone who was online.

Please let me know any updates! A lot of ppl say the reason for this is because of dupers/hackers taking all of the ARs out of the loot economy. Not fair.

hi geez i have tried all of these things. i even did the fix some people reccomended by letting another player rewrite my steam files by them logging into my steam from their pc but still have the exact same issue. please help me more
