Can't put items into inventory spaces.
New, NormalPublic

Description

This has been an issue for a while, when I try to put certain things into inventory spaces (like a shirt) it won't work. Prior to the 1.06 update, leaving the server and rejoining would fix this. Now however, it is severe and won't be fixed even by verifying game files. This is especially bad for people like me who use wooden boxes that are burried as hidden stashes. Today I couldn't put anything away, and had to log out with all my tools on me.

I have had the same experience since 1.06 release. There is a known issue about it so I was surprised to learn this and yet the update still be released.

Personal inventory is just about manageable, shifting from ground to hand, etc, but crates, tents, barrels are incredibly hard and frequently impossible to use as storage; e.g. unable to store items into appropriately sized empty slots. Have tried relogging, various emotes, moving storage away from other items, nothing makes a difference.

This is the biggest issue with the new update besides ARs not spawning (been happening since 1.05 update for no ARs spawning) a lot of veteran DayZ players- and new players alike, love to make hidden stashes, big bases, or use cars as movable storage. With tthe new update, these are all impossible. My now giant hidden stash by the coast is completely unusable. Even worse, I can't stash my base tools, so I can't go out and fight, unless I want to risk dying and re-gearing up for hours just to use my base once again.

I also had problems with this last night. Lots of incidents of other players not able to see/manipulate something I dropped on the ground, items not going back into containers that I had just taken out to use (sewing kits, etc.) I was passing a mag to another, and they could not see it on the ground, so I had them drop their pack and place it inside, and they still could not see it until re-log.

This is probably the biggest issue that's present right now. IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED ASAP

Yep, this is a major (if not the biggest) issue right now. I also encounter several problems during playing.

So cool that you removed not only jumping, but being able to pick things up or place them in containers, pretty cool.

This is the biggest problem for me, and it is amazing that it was pushed out this way.

It looks like the inventory spaces have a sort of cooldown. Here's an example where I couldn't use spaces:

Here's the same container after some time with different broken spaces (about 15 minutes or so):

Notice the broken spaces have moved places in this time.

It seems to be a sync issue between the server and the player, this is why you can move items around between slots and containers just fine when you are holding them on your character but not when they are on the floor. The bugged guns not accepting mags or being able to unload mags has also become far more common this update, they have to sort it out at this point it's ridiculous.

It's so bad I think they should do a roll back and try again with 1.07. Just call 1.06 a write off and go back
