It means that the issue has been fixed. So wait for the next stable version update or just stay on the dev branch.
in dev mode ArmA work but what can i do now?

The AI doesnt walk through objects in my cases as there is nothing blocking. In any case the theory sounds plausible.

I think it "works" because you're telling them to go to a position that doesn't exist. I'm pretty sure that if you do this the AI might walk through objects more frequently than normal. Is that correct?
"normally" yes (at last as it seems and would make sense). however especially with short distance move orders, close to objects, only ASL seems to work (in A3 - prior to A3 it hasnt been a problem)
move, moveTo and doMove require AGL positions though.
I had to use ASL with move/doMove to get AI to move at all. Could be related
After one and half years later. I still am hopeful this will be resolved at some point.

So, could you just focus on the request for new command? There no mean to return a rope segments. Nothing to repro. It's just non-existing.
Man I love memory debugging (I don't, never done that. But I'm excited about having to do that :D)

I'm having the same issue with DayZ, ironically not with Arma3.
no what I need is something I can exec in debug console that creates the rope and another command line that shows the bug. but if you say no biggie, then I guess I will leave it
It's first of all, a feature request for a new command. There is no command or function returning the segments (objects) of a rope.

@Parcival Switch to dev branch and see if that crashes
i deinstalled all mods but the problem is the same
i have no loaded mods
try disabling all mods and then adding them one by one to see which mod causes crash
it crashes when its says " load addons"
i have the same Problem but sometimes ArmA crashes when i start.
Sure thing once it actually crashes again, only because someone actually needs to see it. now it wont crash I will keep trying and will upload it once it does happen again

try creating new soldier with default control scheme

The contact DLC is not meant to be played with other mods/missions. It uses a massive UI overhaul. You should load the DLC only if you want to play the campaign.

I just tested it in the dev branch, but unfortunately this issue still remains. I found a reliable way to easily see this: Take the Promet 6.5mm and shoot the knee, the unit must be facing towards you and has to be unarmed. Both Opfor and LDF (apart of the sweater variant) take 3 bullets to kill, while all the unarmed uniforms only take 2.
Can you try this on the latest dev branch? It should be better balanced if not please report back

Okay, so I tested more doors from more maps, and I didn't notice any similar bugs.
lineIntersectsSurfaces uses engine method if it is a bug then this is how it has been since the dawn of times. Why don't you test other doors on other maps to know for sure?
