I'm finding the same to be true for lots of items: the construction light and the generator have both given me a lot of grief trying to deploy them. I similarly cannot place barrels very reliably either. It doesn't seem to matter which area of the map.

Yep. I found one in a shed. I tried placing it all around, nowhere would allow for it. I even tried on a flat street surface.

No, I was mistaken about creating a new character. It was a coincidence.

When this happened to me, I "created a new character" and was then able to connect to the experimental server I am playing on.

No not using WiFi. The error code didn't help? That's okay. I'm sure others will eventually report the same issue and you'll get it figured out.

@Geez more options to create fishing hooks out of nails, barbed wire, etc. would make this less of a problem. Also maybe digging for worms with your hands.

Yes. You have to be sprinting and time the injection for the instant you've run out of stamina, but don't stop moving forward during the injection animation. This has happened to me so many times.

@Geez try repeatedly wrecking at low speeds. Eventually, the body becomes ruined but the engine is pristine.

You might be brain damaged. The vehicle is no longer functional, can't be repaired, can't be driven, and can't be despawned.

Someone probably guessed the code and changed it.

The vehicle cannot be driven if the body is ruined, FYI.

It would be great if the voice button wasn't mapped to the zoom out button when aiming down sights.

@Geez this isn't just happening to Comenius on that one server. There is an exploit players are using to intentionally crash the servers. Please have someone look at the logs.

I don't run around with hot items and stay warm most of the time unless it's raining, and I play at night as much as I can. You need to keep things that can become soaked inside of containers to prevent them getting wet. Also make sure your clothes stay repaired.

Hello, this is still a serious problem.

They don't usually respond to the PS4 reports for some reason.

There are no admins on official servers.

Community Servers are still showing up in the server browser, but official servers are not.

It's because this "project" has no members. You will see that @Geez is listed on the DayZ project as a member, but not on the PS4 project.

The light was turned off and on to keep it "alive", but no the light wasn't running constantly. Strangely, I can leave a car battery on the ground and it stays where it is for many days.

Nope, this isn't happening anymore since the hotfixes. Weird.

@Geez, I think the problem is that the game lets you deploy fence kits and build the base out of the wooden logs, but you won't find out that you can't construct anything further until after you've already started.

@Geez Sorry if this isn't helpful, but a similar issue happens on PS4 if you're in party chat and switch to game chat. It's intermittent, but sometimes *all* audio stops working. For example, if you're in Game Chat while in a party and exit the server, you will be automatically placed into party chat. Upon reconnecting to the server, the game chat will be re-activated but one or all of the following can happen:

Same thing happens to me on official when upgrading to sheet metal. I've had to tear down the entire fence and rebuild it.

@Geez this is an indicator of the exploit people are abusing to crash servers and dupe items.

@Geez players have been crashing servers repeatedly because of an unpatched dupe exploit.

That happens when you are maxed out on calories and hydration.

Yesterday the problem was present, but today it doesn't seem to happen.

@Geez The mount position for the barbed wire attachment slots moved to a location that was obstructed by a wall and floor. It would still be nice if all action options were available just by looking at the target and using the up/down arrows to select the appropriate action.
