If you put the game into rest mode, a network error will appear after you turn the PS5 back on and try connecting to a server. This didn't used to happen and seems like a new bug. The game has to be closed before connecting to a server will work.

Hello fundogthrillionaire.
We have tested this but we have no issues connecting to a server after the console is turned on from Rest mode.
The only thing that comes to mind is that if you have some special setting, the internet (are you using a wi-fi connection possibly?) is turned off and it takes some time till the console connects after waking it up from rest mode.

No not using WiFi. The error code didn't help? That's okay. I'm sure others will eventually report the same issue and you'll get it figured out.
