Bohemia. This new update is alright at the moment. I'm loving the implementation of breaking your legs, I am loving the flare gun. I like the fact your food can go cold, But what I am not loving and what is really annoying me is food in the game decaying. It spoils the fun overall, I really like to worry about food less and worry about other things more. Please remove this feature from the finalisation of the update, I beg you please. Another thing is the cold. It really needs to be nerfed. Everywhere I go, I am always cold. Mostly in open spaces. This causes my hunger to deteriorate and because I can't keep meat, I die of starvation. Also because I can't keep meat, I am forced to search for canned food at all times. But Canned food is extremely rare in this game and I only came across two canned food in the last 3 hours. Also Fruit and vegetables are no longer worth it because they hardly even increase your hunger, instead increasing your thirst more. Please Bohemia, read this and pick up from this. I promise you that removing decaying food and nerfing the cold temperature just a small bit, that this will make this update a whole lot more better and fun. Thank you.

I just want to say that the area that Chernarus is located on real life is usually snowy, and very cold, so I think that having the cold system is very crucial to immersion in Dayz. and I also believe that food should spoil but there should be a indicator as to how long it has till spoiled. Kinda Like Ark Survival Evolved has the spoil timer and i believe there should also be ways to preserve the meats in the game so that they don't spoil as fast.
Interesting seeing other perspective on this, I do believe the food spoiling is a great thing and could potentially be used to track another player ect. So far I have not had a problem surviving.
They don't necessarily need to remove meat spoiling. Maybe make canned food more common in terms of spawning. It'd make life easier. Also The cold is a problem. Yes it is supposed to be very cold in chernarus but... I am wearing clothes that should allow me to be extremely warm, yet my character is still getting very cold. At both morning and night. Its cool they made chernarus colder, but like I said, they need to nerf the cold just a bit, so warm clothes have a purpose.
I don't run around with hot items and stay warm most of the time unless it's raining, and I play at night as much as I can. You need to keep things that can become soaked inside of containers to prevent them getting wet. Also make sure your clothes stay repaired.
