Prior to .63, the only way to know a door was locked was to try opening it. Forcing players to attempt to open the door was a strategy useful to survivors because an intruder was unable to simply walk up to a door and look at it to know whether or not it was locked. Please devise a compromise of some kind so that this strategy could become viable again.
