Have you tried if the issue with crashing upon clicking on configuration menu occurs also on the vanilla version? As there have been reports by other players that this crashing issue is tied to a mod.

@ItzNathaniel I am having the same issue. Do we just have to wait till they fix it on there end?

This bug is still persistent on stable 1.10, even when inside buildings/under cover that would otherwise prevent rain from hitting the barrel.

I happened to figure out using, DayZ Editor, and only that, that it's not a base game issue. It's an issue to do with the mod Squad MSF-C!

@shaunthesheep Is this happening on modded or vanilla? I have a modded server and it's happening to all my users.
Here's the consecutive files to help with debugging.

The problem still happen with 1.10.

wow i thought im the laziest developer on earth u guys now can have my crown with honor

On both occasions I was in no limping state when the leg was healed. I would assume my health was roughly in the near top to full health as well for both instances.

Geez, could you give a tiny update on this? It kind of messes with the whole economy / item flows by disrupting the even distribution of items over the map, instead it clusters them.

Did you heal up to full HP after the fracture or was your character still damaged? As in, was your character on full HP but the injury (limping state) was still occurring after healing the leg?
And did your character limp immediately upon removal of the splint?

ok i have discovered the issue is with the events from the metallurgy and forging mod

Yeah, water resistant items with low insulation and small inventory are useless and just "better than nothing".

Try and validate your game files through Steam>DayZ>Properties>Local Files>Verify Integrity of Game Files, if you still experience crashes once the 1.10 update releases tomorrow.

What does Task Manager say about your performance when this occurs?
Are you running DayZ from a Hard Disk Drive?

It also limits the use of raincoats and NBC clothes as they are low insulation and therefore barely useful anywhere off the coast.

This is a DayZ bug.

to implement what you need, you just need to use these functions:
ModelToWorld
WorldToModel
RaycastRV

Both times I attempted to treat my leg I waited the allotted time and when the leg was healed is when it occurred. I did nothing but stand still in one place after I applied a splint. Only way I was able to fix this was by killing the character.
