don't think it's related to clouds. disabled them happens none the less.
happened to me yesterday even in the middle of the nowhere in a forest. get around 2-4 fps on average, so way more severe than OP stated. it all happens in a wink of an eye: fluid gameplay, all of a sudden unplayable.
can someone verify if this just happend at dusk/dawn or night? (played on experimental with net-msg and accl. time at night)
however: no desynch, bandwidth pretty average.
EDIT: just logged out at night, logged back in, now it's dawn and suddenly it's way better, although some stuttering from time to time but not crippling as before.
agree would be a nice addition, however needs abort option
gun is there, i just didn't saw it (omg). after studying holsters i can now understand that most take quite some space due to their rigidness, therefor it makes sense that both attached to each other take less space.

apparently one can escape, buy sprinting, while connecting and spawning.
same here. basically: you are dead -> exit -> back to server -> respawn on the exact spot you've died/ exited. everything is there. only items are damaged or ruined.
do you play in 3rd person? i figured that if i switch into 1st person and then toggle between walking and running it would work again.

please. do not for the inventory however. you can basically - in pitch black - open the inventory and run through a room and can loot everything without actually ever seeing anything

in the latest exp build 0.47 there is still floating loot in the bigger red two-story buildings, first room upstairs on the right in the upper floor above the TV. if there is loot it is floating almost all of the time. (eg. tuna can)
possibly no bug - different keybinding may lead to this
i noticed that as well. it's frustrating at times.

zeds currently clip more or less reliably (latest experimental build) through the log taverns. also noticed in the "pubsmall" building as well as the quadratic "food" building (here mostly through doors)
