I'd love the editing area & camera area of a zeus be within a specific zone, which has straight borders. There's no way to accomplish that because Zeus' editing areas can only be circular and thus there are un-editable gaps which are weirdly shaped.

if you clicked on the Decline button in Launcher, you've declined BattlEye EULA and only thing you have to do is to go to BATTLEYE tab in Launcher and re-enable BattlEye by checking the check box there.

Ok, i should edit this.

Turns out, it's BACKPACKS that are the real villain.
Wut? Backpacks are light, it's the stuff inside that weighs.

Since downgrading the size of the backpack fixed all my premade classes, one or two i had to remove a mag and a grenade.
But backpacks, Wheeew, those are heavy. (Apparently)

Knocking your head on the wall of realism is not a solution. OK, in real life I'm unable to run with my after-school snack. Not too serious cause I don't go to school any more!
As for every disappointing gameplays, cheaters and even adult scripters find solutions to bypass these points. It takes few time to have your own addon and no more problem with fatigue/stamina, even if some servers kick you (not so much).

The problem is: how BI can satisfy most of players, avoiding such bastard solutions?
What about home made (but great mods) with plenty of magical equipments (extra-huge backpacks, light weight machine guns with Uranium bullets, light but super-efficient armored vests...?

The answers are:
1 - a charter for "compatible" or "BI consistent" addons which complies to the vanilla statements (equivalence in weight, armor, capacity, velocity, power)..
Scripters should declare to be compliant with this charter (something like signature for addons);

2 - Difficulty settings, BI in charge of that point...

Just do it for your self: Count Together all the weight you want to carry. and than try it out. I dont say its kind of that soldiers cant carry more i mean just for you so you know about what kind of weight we are talking. BTW the Weight cap for force walk is 45Kg.

thank you very much for your feedback.

This error is very generic. It may be caused by many issues, such as a hardware malfunction, a virus in the computer, but also an error in the game itself. Possible solutions:

Try joining another server, then rejoin the previous one.
Update the graphics card drivers to a newer version.
Rollback the graphics card drivers to an older version.
Check the temperature of your GPUs and CPUs.
Verify the integrity of the game cache using Steam.
Re-install DirectX.
Uninstall the Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable package (x86 version), restart your computer and install the package again (do not use the Repair function).
Run a Windows System File Check tool to repair corrupted system files.

Should none of this work, please send us another crash dump.

thank you for the response. However, we cannot determine what exactly caused the problem. Please try to run Arma without any mods. If the problem is still present, send us the repro mission created without the mods.

Should you not experience the problem without the mods, you can try to run the game with the mods started one by one to determine which of the mods might be causing you trouble.

Mods are not official content from Bohemia Interactive and it is very likely that some game features won't run properly when running them.

As far problem occured only on CUP_terrains, but they stated its an engine related. On their terrains all vehicles seems to be affected (vanilla, moded). I'll keep you updated.

Please try to fix it, its really gamebreaking. All long missions like sandboxes, zombies etc require long time to play, i'm not able to play such long time, so saving/restarting game is needed in my (and in other's) case.

Are you able to reproduce that issue with the unmodified version (vanilla) of ARMA3?

Please try to reproduce your issue without the use of mods, scripts or unofficial addons.

If you can reproduce it, attach a small mission file with reproduction steps for everyone to reproduce.

Off course savegames disapear when you exit game without saving (old savegames should still exists) but its another problem..... This game really needs fixing beacuse (lets just say it loud) its a mess.

Please try to run the game with Troubleshoot Compatibility. Right-click on the game exe or the shortcut and select Troubleshoot Compatibility option.

Please let us know if this helps. You should be able to run game without the troubleshoot option if it's fixed.

I use Razer Kraken 7.1s, which are USB so I assume they have a built in sound "card". I also tried using headphones that use a 3.5mm audio jack and my motherboard's integrated sound card, which worked - for everything but A3. I have had sound on the HDD I used as a boot drive, but I no longer use that drive for games or boot, that's all on my SSD now. I don't recall ever having sound on Arma 3 on this hard drive. Just tried my sound mixer after I started the game, made sure audio was enabled on everything, including the game, and that it was at a decent volume. Still no sound in game.

Are you using on board sound and/or a sound card?

Have you checked your windows sound mixer (sliders) after you started the game (maybe only the game got muted)?

Have you ever had sound in ARMA3 before?

please try to go to your Sound Settings and select your Headset as a default playback device.

  1. Right-click Sound icon in the lower right corner
  2. Select Playback devices
  3. Find you headse and set it as default

If this is the case, why can't a civilian not handle an UAV terminal? That doesn't make any sense.

I hope, the developers will fix that and will fix the problem that you can't tell the difference from faction based UAVs and Terminals: #0023809

Its meant in a war situation there wont be a unlocked UAV terminal lying somewhere so some random civ can grab it and do some bullshit. Its the same reason why we have faction specific terminals. What could be a good solution is that we get a civilian version of the darter(without a laser) with a Civ teminal.

It should be no problem for the devs to fix it, instead setting the player captive, they should set all other units captive. Not sure how it will effect other scripts they use there though.

I dont know what you mean with captive but the VA main char was changed from Bluefor i think to Civ because of some reasons. The only solution would be that in VA all Terminals can be used by Civs. But only there.
