This isn't a problem with the AI. It happened to me when I was driving along a road. the front wheel sank into the ground. It was an offroad gun truck. I suspect it's something to do with the modelling/collision physics. I have also seen it happen with spawned Hunters.

Yeah but I most commonly see this happening with the AI since they can't avoid to crash into things, and so they get they wheels stuck very often.

Looks like it is the same command only setLightBrightness is relative

0- 0%
1 - 100%
2 - 200% etc

while setLightIntensity takes some intensity value which could be in thousands

setLightBrightness 1 == setLightIntensity 2500

/endmission never used to work for me,all it did was complete,but never unlocked tipping point.

I have an absolute fix for this issue. In-Game stop your character turn your number lock on on your keypard and hit these keys...LEFT SHIFT and the - key above plus on the key pad and TYPE IN endmission just like that do not hit enter it will end the mission and go to the next one so left shift - and type endmission.

We were able to simulate the problem once only on one computer. We are still on it. We completely remade the system of loading HUBs. The version is already in DEV version on Steam. If you could try it and give a feedback, it would be great.

dev build 1.11.114544

ran test 10 times,with no luck,am now getting no cutscences loading at all.also no sound,and black screen permanatly.
hitting space bar or /flush,wont skip/bypass problem.
can access inventory,and access map(but loads up blackscreen),both have working mouse control.
pause menu,still cant access configure tab.

also tried a earlier maxwell mission on new dev build,and everything loads correct,so problem is still tied to this mission.

Not resolved. I also have new version. Same issue of screen going black
after message "two hours later." You can hear noises, even shoot gun, but can't see anything.

Also, I cant play the new campaign until this campaign is over, so can this be addressed?

yes zozo. I updated to version 1.10 but still having problems with the cut scenes in Maxwell. At least now I'm past them I can continue, just need to dodge the artillery fire!!! :-)

I'm glad you guys found a solution, and I've already beat the first campaign episode, but we should probably try to find a more reliable fix for laptop users as well. The only way I was able to get past was probably luck-oriented.

confirmed that tholozor way listed above does work.

space bar before "2 hours later" appears.
then spam shift numpad- flush.
and i really do mean spam flush.
i just doing it till all cut sence where clear and mission loads
maybe BI should upload a savegame file for tipping point for folks stuck at this point till a more permanant fix can be found.

still not fixed for me either :-(
Tried the spamming of LShift+Numpad- Flush and that has done the trick. Just keep flushing through the cut scenes and when you report in for the first contact (He should salute you and then speak) If he just stares blankly flush again. Flush through the briefing and then should drop you to the armoury to loadup. You should be able to assemble and start the mission after that. What a palaver At least I can now complete Part 1 ready to start Part two

Dropped my video settings to lowest possible, that fixed it, got to the Tipping Point, returned them back to normal.

AMD FX 8350
GeForce 770 (332.21)
I have encountered multiple problems, sometimes I was stuck in black screen after "two hours later", sometimes I had the letterbox but was able to aim and shoot everyone in Camp Maxwell (not reload the gun though), one time it crashed by running out of memory. Last time I got some progress but still couldn't get to the next mission.
I'd like to outline one very specific thing. Every time I go play this mission I notice that the game starts to perform slower and slower, drop FPS more and more every second. You can also see that the dialog to the lower right that prints out time and date prints them a lot slower than usual. Sometimes it prints out 2035-07-0 and stops right there and the guy that greets you only says half of his speech.

I've found that running a flush command helps progress some of the scripts that are apparently getting hung up.

Any time a piece of dialogue or anything else gets 'stuck,' try and run a flush command, been working for me so far.

EDIT: Confirmed I was able to 'flush' my way through that portion of Maxwell and progress to Tipping Point.

Thanks OminousPenguin, I'm sure this is helpful and time-saving to the developers. I'm wondering if the coding is the problem, mainly because it doesn't seem likely for Arma 3's development team.

Got a new mobo, CPU& RAM. Problem fixed.

So it would seem that it's nothing to do with the graphics card or driver.

hit add a bit too soon.
i think personally may be a script error,as alot of times the english guy doesnt load at all,if does has no sound.
the space bar bypass works but seems to skip him altogether,but also stop other things loading.

steam forums have multiple threads on this issue,is issue myself that cant rectify.
have tried all of above fixes/bypasses,and still cant get to manually access stra map to get tipping point mission to load.

Various use of space bar and save, exit & resume means I can get to the cut scene briefing for Tipping Point but when the briefing ends I can't do anything other than abort. Seriously frustrating now
