The error comes from steam and the error message is "STEAM_API_DLL TODO"
I don't know what's wrong, I cannot reproduce it when I update my own workshop mods. I don't know how to fix it if I can't even see what's actually wrong.
We also added native ultrawide handling a year or two a go

It sounds like your issue is actually caused by outdated steam client.
I know there is a newer version available on windows 7 that does work

Thanks for the quick response. If I understand correctly, someone knows about the problem, but for some unknown reason does not voice it officially (on the site).
This is sad and a little strange. I hope that the problem will be fixed soon or voiced on the site. I think it is important for many fans of Arma games to know that Bistudio hears them (for me it does).

Yes I've noticed the same thing on the Xbox Series S on the Rendering also Night vision Goggles have been having issues when you turn them on they become darker than the environment that is around you and it has started since the 1.28 update.

This is probably because the landAt command was partially broken. Its fixed in the latest profiling branch I assume that fixes this too.

Hello do we have an update on when this issue will be resolved since it’s been well over 1 month.
dedmen closed T192720: The ACE devs are telling me the 'caliber' value in ammo configs never had anything to do with body armor. as Resolved.
caliber decides how much a projectile decelerates when penetrating. Less caliber == less deceleration == can penetrate further.
dedmen closed T193319: Got most my crashes drastically reduced, still have one CTD that's still happening. as Resolved.

It sounds like your game cannot save to your "My documents" folder.
Inside the Arma launcher, go to Parameters. Under All Parameters/Advanced you will find "Profile Directoy", create some new directory somewhere for the game to store its data in.
Then try if it works then

Check ticket T188790, the answer is mentioned there. It's weird that it's there and not on this ticket where they collated other tickets to. Or in the Known issues page, but nothing has been done since the answer was posted in 10.04.2025 or even after I suggested the Known issues page update in 25.05.2025

The issue with the machine gun sight not working (on vehicles and tripods) is still not resolved (Arma Reforger stable version 1.4.0.48). It has been around for a long time, but is not listed as a known issue on the Bohemia website (https://reforger.armaplatform.com/known-issues). This issue affects all players. It seems to have been forgotten.

A similar problem (non-functioning mechanical sight of the machine gun) was also found on the side machine gun of the USSR helicopter (rear gunner).
