Use motion joy and switch off vibration. (As I do)
The visual feddback is mentioned in the post: "There should be a visual indicator witch shows the zero position and the offset for better feedback"

Sorry, I missed it.
Any moderator! Please close his one!
Thanks.
Thanks!
It is good to see some people are understanding it.
I understand, but what is wrong with that?
I know it won't be a big deal, but this could help to fix the low priority little, annoying bugs faster.
I know BIS would have to work with these too, but half of the work would be done by the modder.
Maybe I am wrong, i am not a game developer nor a hardcore modder.
CXN2615
Exactly!
This is just a base idea, the details are up to BIS.
I think anyone who posts his fix on that specific site has to accept a perm.
Autors should be added to credits - at least. But this is BIS-s part.
And of course no modder is forced to give his fix to BIS and improve the game he/she loves...its a possibilitiy
I think it does not hurt if you won't have to patch up your game with dosens of (free) little mods to fix bugs, but these fixes are implemented in the core game.
Could any downvoter give a note, what is the problem with this?
Thanks.
Upvoted but this should have low priority
+1 Good idea! Maybe it is planned in the full release...
+1 Fix it, and we need those clapping animations mentioned in the post!
About gliders: let something to modders to do!
I think there are so many more important things BIS should work on!
This game is supported by a huge modder community. They can do this glider stuff if they have motivation to do so. Maybe you could do it...:)
PS: Gliders would only work well with no or minimal equipment. You would not be able to fly a glider equipped with 50kg military stuff. So what is the point in getting behind enemy lines with a single pistol and a few bullets?
This is why military uses parachutes. And that is already implemented.
Besides wind and dust there should be blurry vision without protecting glasses.
Flying grass etc could be done by an animated 2D overlay on players viewport, not with actual particles so it wouldn't be FPS killer. It would be activadet in acertain radius of the chopper.
Please test it in combat pace (the jogging with weapon up)
In combat pace it also STOPS when RAISING!
(at least for me)
I have to correct myself:
Ctrl*2 won't even raise weapon,
only primary mouse button (fire weapon) will do it,
and for me it stops movement for a moment (during the animation).
Tested again:
When raising weapon
- in combat pace: movement stops for a moment.
- when running: movment don't stop (but not completly fluid - weapon is raised then lowered slightly according to the running animation)
Confirmed with 16:10 wide
Ok. Thanks
I think the outside of scope should be a little bit more blurry, than it's Ok.
Voted up!
I wanted to report the same, when I've found this.
+1
And I can't understand why is it so big problem if somebody wants separate freelook option for land and air vehicles. And YES it IS annoying to double tap ALT every time you get in a land vehicle - as said before
voted^
It comes with reworking the command system and AI but these are also important so BIS DO IT, please!
Upvoted.
I think this sould apply to any heavy weapon too - like m107 sniper rifle...
I don't think anyone can shoot accurately form standing position (unrested) with a 14kg rifle.
And this feature requires weapon resting!
With the latest development build I still have the problem but I don't need slow forward to reproduce:
If I move forward (holding W) while primary weapon lowered
and I press Optics mode key than I get infinete moving forward.
It can only be stopped by vaulting (V)

This time I was shot dead from 200m+ by two shots of a ROOK 40 PISTOL!!! while I was leaning out from cover. - no comment
Needs SERIUS revision!
Almost forget: Enemy precision was lowered to 0.35 (Enemy skill: 0.7 on veteran)
For me the priority is the analog throttle and brake, so it would be possible to drive smoothly with a controller.
Of course I have tried. (PS3dualshock with motion joy driver)
My idea is:
1/3 gas: you can maintain low rpm in actual gear
2/3 gas: you can maintain medium rpm in actual gear
full gas: you go up to high rpm to change gear (automatic or manual)
so this would mean manual cruise control in my opinion and would give a lot more controll (and immersion) over a car - vehicle. But the possibility for analog controll would be the best.
Of course if you are commander you should not have direct control over speed like above. And you give your driver the orders, and it tries to maintain that speed (as it is now and was in previous ArmAs)
And it would be nice to have the possibility of manual shifting (in vehicles it is possible in reality)
