Creating a file that would just record what's going on in the whole map at a particular moment is actually much easier and much lighter than a video. Can make you able to re run the game and film the thing from which ever angle you desire.
Upvoted but not really a priority.
I've always wondered how the hell the soldier didn't fall. Are they straped?
Upvoted.
"The night is dark and full of terrors" in arma it's only dark. You should be thankfull.
Try moving in an area with no light source by a moonless and stormy night. You won't see much.
On my screen night with moon and stars are fine, and dark night are as dark as they should be.
Downvoted.
In Arma 2 I remember reading that you could actually move around using the star as compass. I never tried it, for obvious reasons (obvious reasons being: It's difficult to tell a star from a tracer round).
I'm pretty sure they move depending on date (like the sun day time does...).
Downvoted. Many reasons:
- Most of the player won't take time to create their own clip/mag.
- Bohemia is not known for it's easy to use menus.
- THink about it you get on a server, take 20 minutes to create your mags and then go to battle?
- This, in real life, takes a LONG time. I mean REALLY LONG.
- If a team or group of players think they really need some differently arranged magazines, they can mod it easily to fit in the weapon they use with the special abilities that they choose.
Seems fine now.
It stopped now. I will keep you informed.
Not with the last DEV version in single player!
Once the eject button is implemented (when we get parachutes actually) we will be able to get out of the chopper at any time!
Need to make sure it will be possible in water too actually so not an useless ticket.
Some people don't want to have the feeling of the ACE mod on Arma, for me it would be too complicated.
While Arma tries to make a compromise between simulation and fun, ACE is really pushing the simulation side too far for some players.
They are great mods, and they are also great as mods!
Those were taken in less than a minute, during a trip from Stratis Air Base to Camp Maxwell. The Chopper was over the sea before turning over land around Agios Nikolaos.
Is it supposed to move? Or is it a glitch too?
Probably, I made the package right after the BSOD.
Working fine now!
Link should be working in a minute or so:

You need to actually raise some settings that will make it rain. Don't remember the name but google it up or test in the editor!
Well made a mistake, it is not "always" it is "sometime" in the Reproducibility.
I'm pretty sure you can do that yourself.
Please edit your controls before whining.
Default controls are set on "raise collective" you need to set your buttons to "raise collective (analogue)" if you don't use a joystick with built in thrusters.
I've had this problem once, couldn't reprouce it:
I went inside the Ifrit as driver and looked dead. My vision looked like if my head was inclined left, and I looked dead from outside.
I just stepped out and then back in to fix the problem.
It acts bettter than before but the bug sometime happens. I'm gonna put some more screenshots.
Hide behind a rock that casts a shadow, hide inside the shadow. While peeking your head out of the shadow, the diving goggles' behind the head is lit BEFORE the top of the head.
It is fixed now! Thanks a lot!
You can close it.
This issue was added on the first game of the alpha, maybe it was fixed in the dev build, I didn't check this week.
If it's missing like it was on the PiP screen, it's pretty uncool.
Nice catch. Consider adding some pepper and herbs (it's greece, shouldn't be hard to find).
Seems like I can't find a place to do it again, either way it was fixed or it was a very precise point. Close it, someone will report it again if the bug shows up again.
Iran, like China, loves to copy weapons, making cheaper versions of them. It is very plausible, seeing the accuracy and overall use of the M14 (beautiful weapon) that the Iran would love to copy it.
USA did that for a weapon's model (I don't remember which) who was fit to accept AK styled magazines and ammunitions, so that spec ops would never run out when behind ennemy lines (during cold war).
