Yeah I know but we have to hover over each one to see the info, tedious for nothing. Before we could see everything we needed without moving the mouse.

Jeez I didn't even know you could cycle through smokes by typing the 5 key again. I learned something today, thanks. Arma should really have a manual for hidden controls like this.

Solved issue by deleting everything in the profile folder. But maybe other players who have the same problem don't know about this.
Ok this issue has to do with T174116.
I solved my problem by deleting the config files in the profile folder.

No I didn't have any mods running. I tried out now and the bug doesn't seem to occur anymore !
However switching views from 1st to 3rd person or vice versa doesn't work sometimes on AI. Should I open a new ticket for this ?

I should have specified that this only impacts the 3D handbrake in the truck's cabin. It makes it move up and down but has no incidence on locking the rear wheels. Sorry if I was a bit unclear.
Can't wait for the next update :D

Had the same problem not long ago. I reinstalled the game for another reason and now I don't have it anymore. Sometimes it disappeared when changing some graphic settings, then it reappeared or it was flashing on and off on the screen.

I'm playing on the experimental client version 0.9.6.38, and just wanted to inform you that the issue is still present. Same error message (reason 6 stalled).

I can confirm there's no issue with rifle scopes anymore, me and my friend checked on a vanilla custom server.

I ran into the same problem a few days ago (and still today) with a friend on my vanilla custom server, when we both had " zoomable scopes " on our rifles like the LRPS, MOS, AMS... one of us could not change the zoom of his scope. He was stuck in one of the two zoom positions in the scope, and when the player without the bug died or entered in a vehicle the bug was passed to him while the bugged player wasn't bugged anymore.

That's because the game is already balanced. If you haven't noticed, CSAT forces spawns without body armor, NATO in the contrary has a bunch of thick body armor, that way what NATO wears as protection on their vests is the same as the armor of the CSAT uniforms.
Plus, it's a part of the scenario, CSAT gear is more futuristic than NATO's, they have a ventilation system in their headgear and uniform, that way it explains why their uniforms are more protected than NATO ones.
A NATO unit in body armor and a CSAT unit without body armor will have the same amount of protection. So if you play PvE CSAT won't spawn with armor vests, if you play PvP, desactivate the body armors for the CSAT team.

Wanted to see those fucking clusters but each time i couldn't find where the bomb launded and always missed the moment of explosion so I gave up, thanks you did that for me ! Those AT missiles poping out of a mortar shell made my day XD.
Hey there ! I completely agree with you, Arma is a wonderful game, and I really love it, and trust me I would love to see Arma with a physic engine like Euphoria, used in Grand Theft Auto series. But you know, Bohemia is not making it on purpose, they are completely aware that a lot of stuff are not as realistic as they could be, and if they are the way they are now, that's for sure because they can't make it another way.
First because you can't focus on everything, making an engine like Euphoria or the one used in BeamNG is fucking hard and takes a lot of time and money. They have to focus on the simulated physics, like bullets, infantry damage, ammunition used, side of impact, wind, and a lot of other things that i'm even not aware of !
Trust me, I've done a little of programmation myself, and players don't know how each little invisible thing of the game has his proper line of code. What the customer sees is only the content, so he can complain on why there are not many weapons or vehicles, but a program is much more complicated and detains so much more information than only visual content.
Second, and I think that's the real big deal why the physics are not as beautiful as for exemple GTA physics, (GTA car crashes are not realistic at all, but are pleasant to the eye, a car in real life would be crushed like an aluminium can) because Arma the way it is now take already a fucking lot of GPU and CPU power, because Altis is super huge and rendered in real time for all the players on the map, and textures are way more High Definition than other games. Integrating a new physic engine would burn most of players GPU cards nowadays and it would result in an even more laggy game with even more desync issues, and that's not what we want.
I think that Bohemia matter number 1 at the moment is multiplayer stability and fluidity, and surely a lot of their acutal physic engine bugs, no offense ^^.
Sorry for this huge post, just know that i upvoted your request, because I agree with you, I would really like to see a wonderful realistic Arma, in both terms of non seen physics like bullets and visual physics like vehicles crashes, but I think Bohemia is really doing their best, and they are not a huge team like most of the blockbusters video games teams, so they focus on the simulation, and not always on the visual physics. Though I think not making a vehcile explode by simple bullets is not really hard to do and i'm sure they will add this in future updates ! =)

Agreed, Kajman stalls way to easily with AFM, moreover it's super hard to control the power with a keyboard, a little too high the heli goes up, a little too less the heli stalls.
Can't we have the AFM activated without the control of the power ?
Definitly AFM is not meant for a keyboard, thats too bad cause Bohemia did a great job to improve helos realism, but really unplayable with keyboard.
Still an issue there, wanted to post a report but I checked for similar ones already posted, and I found yours.
The compass is stuck on " minimize " position for me, and i can't get it to change by double clicking on it like a few months ago when it worked fine.
The compass is just translating when I double click on it, but don't get bigger, and get back to its position when i double click again. The position animation of the compass is there but it doesn't zoom.
I would be glad if this could get fixed ! Upvote.
