Keybindings not resetting / leftover keybinds bug
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Hello,

Since the new update, I noticed that some keybinds that I made prior to the update still work, even if they are not assigned in the keybindings menu.
Even when I did the full reset of the keybinds in the parameters menu, these "phantom" keybinds still worked.

For example I assigned the key "C" to "point with finger" prior to the update and this still works now even if I reset the keybind to default which is "CTRL + ~". This now conflicts with the new action "deploy weapon" which is also "C" and I can't do anything about it.

These leftover keybinds must still be saved somewhere in the config files and have not been properly cleaned with the update.

Solved issue by deleting everything in the profile folder. But maybe other players who have the same problem don't know about this.

Hey, I am also having the same issue as above. Can someone please tell me where the profile folder is located for Arma Reforger? I am looking for it but can not find it.

Yes, it's in your Documents/ My Games/ ArmaReforger / profile

Everything in this folder is safe to delete I think, at least I did not have any problem with it. But it will reset all your parameters, like graphics settings etc.

If you only want to delete the keybinds config file I think it is in .save/settings, probably the InputUserSettings.conf file.

I'm also having this issue. It's causing me to be unable to ADS properly, and I assume this is the problem because it feels like it's reading multiple right clicks when i only hit RMB once.

I assume this is the same problem as if I unbind all of my ADS keybinds, I can still ADS by right clicking.

Hello everyone.
The issue has been resolved internally and the fix will appear in one of the future updates.
