Hello.
This has to be fixed by the mod creator.
Hello.
Have you tried without any mods so we can confirm this is not caused by the mods installed?
Dear @Geez, please close this task as confirmed and completed. (Fixed in version 1.4.0.48). And thank you for your work.
This is not "just a cool feature" this is a must have in 2025 and should be prioritized my 1660ti is struggling and gpu prices are insane and will prob be staying this way for the noticeable future. We need more ways to increase performance on lower end hardware, in fact they already exist you guys just built your rendering engine in a way that makes it incompatible with fsr and dlss. This should be prioritized, more performance always makes the consumers happy.

Yeah that does seem oddly high, I wouldn't say most people have accepted them that high. Maybe 50ms ones but what you're describing is quite high. Maybe reforger does have an inherent stutter problem, its just worse for X3d cpu's for some reason
@TPepperoni666 I get stutters that are hundreds of milliseconds on vanilla servers, usually three or four spikes in frametime like that in quick succession. Tested on 9.0-4, GE10-8 and GE10-9. Stutters are less frequent on bazzite than Windows. I've had only two multi-second freezes. Most people have accepted frequent 300-400ms stutters?
Yep and if their solution is to rank lock the RPG, leave it mostly untouched and just introduce a disposable launcher then that won't be enough. The RPG is just an incredibly oppressive weapon and a net detriment to the game right now.

With Commander/Driver hatches now being a thing, can this possibly get a second look? being able to crouch while in a Humvee or UAZ gunner seat would be great

I'm not saying give us debug symbols, I'm saying help us waste less time finding out what we did wrong, since there is 0 hope of the game's stability ever increasing. At least you could help us avoid getting blown up in this minefield of a game.
At the time of version 1.3.0.48 the interface has been partially changed and will most likely not be reorganized in the future. You can close the ticket due to its irrelevance. Thank you for your work.
As of version 1.3.0.48 this problem is gone. You can close the ticket, the problem is solved. Thank you for your work.

This has been happening to me on the vanilla official conflict servers
For those on Windows: Just wanted to reiterate that downgrading from Windows 11 24H2 to 23H2 has resolved all stuttering issues for me.
Hello GorgorB.
Since you are running a lot of modded content, can you please confirm that this occurs in vanilla version with no mods as well? We have had reports of this happening in the past and were testing this on our end but we were unable to reproduce the issue.
Regards,
Geez
Surprised @Sbeve linux didn't fix your hitching. Are you having minor stutters or massive hitches? My issue on windows was all the hitching and CPU maxing out which is a non problem for me on linux. Arma has always had little stutter problems especially on modded servers which I think most people have just accepted, the Massive 5- 10s hitches and crashes from hitches however need to be addressed. What proton were you running on bazzite? Could it be an issue with that version of proton?
The bazzite system I run with a 5800x3d and 9070xt handles it fine with GE_Proton 9-27
Well I finally got around to installing Linux (bazzite) on a SATA SSD to see if that would fix the problem. It doesn't, stuttering still exists on Linux. I guess it's just part of the game? I've seen my friend's game stuttering on an i5-9600k and rtx 3060 as well. I'm excited to play this game if/when the heavy stuttering is fixed.
When it comes to the crashes you've mentioned, the only real way to debug them is by having full access to the game's C++ engine codebase. Even with that access, unless you're highly familiar with the systems and structure of the code, identifying the root cause would still be extremely challenging.

This problem is still relevant, deleting armareforgertools from the registry editor helped me
As of yet again the latest update, the freezing and crashing still persists. PLEASE FIX THIS ALREADY, how long are we supposed to wait?
I think I have found a fix. I Have an ASUS B650-E Motherboard, updated the "ArmouryCrate" and used that to update the BIOS as well as downloading ASUS "DriverHub" and that had a new driver for the chipset. Also set the BIOS into "Performance" mode also turned on the "GameMode" in advanced settings.. so far game works well again..
