It is based on server settings. The game has a 24 hour clock, but just because the server is located at NY doesnt mean it is on NY's timezone. People playing in NY prolly want it to be daytime when they play in the evening, so the time will probobly be off. Or vice versa. Depends on who's server it is and how they have it set up.

That isnt to say that this isnt annoying. I think that the server browser should have server time listed on it. I prefer daytime servers myself, and being able to tell what servers times are BEFORE you log into it would be very helpful.

Agreed, it can be modified to be unbalanced. On the flip side though, night time is ridiculously dark, and it is dark half of the time, or in my case, most of the time i'm able to get on it. They either need to make it less dark (preferably not that) or make flashlight more useful. If your too close to a wall, unless your aiming directly at the spot you want to see, its useless. if your pointing at a wall, give it some lower ambient light nearby so you can somewhat see near you? I don't know, but it is currently too ridiculously hard to see/find anything at night.

Like butcher said. Right now you have your "weapon" lowered, so it isnt pointing straight out. Pressing spacebar pulls it out and aims it forward. having your weapon out makes you move slightly slower, so you can lower it with the same button. Also makes you seem less threatening so maybe people wont shoot you. Not likely though.

I have gotten this issue several times myself (4-5 times). The door open symbol even shows that the door opens, but the door itself doesnt move.

I personally had this happen to me 2 times (and one of my friends had it happen to them as well). When you die, instead of clicking respawn, log out, and log back in. When you log in, you will be low health, possibly bleeding, but you will be alive with all of your stuff in the same spot.

What these people have said. I also think that the server browser should tell you what time it is on that server, so you can tell what servers are night vs day before you connect, so you dont have to constantly try to serverhop to find one that isnt pitch black.

I frequently hear zombies sounding like they are RIGHT next to me, but looking around, there is absolutely nothing nearby.
