Am not able to recreate this as of yet but was able to do it 6 times in an hour the first time, after death log out and back right after. Run a LAN Center and a customer who was playing with me also was able to do this 3 times before taking a break from the game.

This bug can be used to circumvent the permanent unconscious if killed by another player while unconscious

This happened to me when I got shot. When I logged back in everything was normal, but most of my gear was ruined.

I personally had this happen to me 2 times (and one of my friends had it happen to them as well). When you die, instead of clicking respawn, log out, and log back in. When you log in, you will be low health, possibly bleeding, but you will be alive with all of your stuff in the same spot.

Can confirm this bug on version 113772

• Get the "You are dead" screen (not unconscious)
• Disconnect from server
• Connect to same server
• Character still in the location of death and alive with damaged gear

This is the most severe bug at the moment. It is a game breaking bug as it gives god mode to anyone who uses it. I don't think this needs any more testing, just a quick fix.

This needs to be fixed ASAP. I just shot a guy, he logged out, moved behind me on another server and logged back in with all his gear. PVP is broken ATM.

This has happen to me get you are dead log out rejoin sever and alive with gear happend after falling.

It's amazing that the devs haven't commented on this. There is no risk in this game in it's current state. This is basically god mode for everyone :(

I've never had this happen when dying to zombies or starvation. I have also never seen this happen when I've died after being unconscious. Today, though, I had two guys try to kos me. Killed one then died to the other while bandaging. My screen went black and it never said I was unconscious but instead it said you have died. I waited about ten seconds after that then exited the game. Came back in about an hour later and was low health, bleeding but in same spot.

I fell 5 feet just a second ago and died on full health. Tried to logout and log back to server and it came up with a fresh character.

Confirmed. The same thing happened to me and two friends of mine, tough I don't know how to replicate it.

We were killed during a gunfight, then we disconnected and logged in another server to start over, but we were surprised to see our character and gear were intact.

I don't know if it related or not but yesterday I've got shot in the head and felt unconscious (not dead, strange, maybe .22 round but nobody was close enough to make that shot). After a minute or two, server restarts. When I came back, I was still unconscious (first time unconscious+restart don't kill me) but I wake up quickly and the only one thing that was ruined was my cowboy hat (proof that I've been shot in the head).
Character still alive after one other server reboot.
