They log out, their bodys disappear, and they get to keep all their stuff. When they log back in they're alive and unharmed. This is a known exploit.
I can confirm this. Only happened with compass thus far. Most of the time when I switch to compass and then back to a weapon the weapon changing animations keeps looping when viewed by other players. Has happened with everyone I know.
It's amazing that the devs haven't commented on this. There is no risk in this game in it's current state. This is basically god mode for everyone :(
This is the most severe bug at the moment. It is a game breaking bug as it gives god mode to anyone who uses it. I don't think this needs any more testing, just a quick fix.
This needs to be fixed ASAP. I just shot a guy, he logged out, moved behind me on another server and logged back in with all his gear. PVP is broken ATM.
Happened to me randomly aswell. I wasn't bleeding, hungry or thirsty, but I dropped unconcious when I arrived at Green Mountain and was forced to respawn. My guess was that it had something to do with fatigue but who knows. I'm always tired no matter how much I rest
