<Another player>: I have noticed this as well, if you let go of shift and climb on regular speed it will place you back on the ladder. You still have a good chance of clipping through the hole of the ladder as the PC will not step onto the platform but instead drop back down the hole. I have also noticed this one on the big chimney in Berezino.

I was there this morning and can confirm, it's still blocked by the brick wall in 0.63 stress test #31.

I hope this is useful. I recently crashed but was not able to catch the code in time. I ran whocrashed, following pe3pa's advice, and these are the results.

Also in the steps to reproduce I mentioned having to drag an item as a required step. While it feels it occurs more frequently dragging an item I also received crashes on doing nothing on the open inventory window.

Add eight more crashes to the count, 31-0704(x) is the files I will be refering to with x the number of the crash. The first was a crash without dropping either the pack or transceiver I mentioned. The second and third one were after dropping the transceiver. The fourth was having made a courier bag instead having put two cans of beans into it and a makarov. While I was in between bags the game seemed remarkably stable. So the only constant to link the crashes were either the presence of an improvised backpack/courier bag and having a makarov. As I dropped the makarov I got crashes 5 and 6. This ruled out the makarov and left just the bag as an option. I dropped the pack and went on without one after which I got crashes 7 and 8.

Playing on experimental early this morning 7 a.m. GMT or so. I witnessed this occur multiple times where the magazine would be picked up using keyboard, and since the inventory was full the magazine would go into the empty rifle/smg, but that rifle when equipped (from Alice pack) would appear graphically to be missing. Leaving/joining, nothing would fix the rifle or smg. Simply put if you dont want to bug out the gun and lose both it and a magazine (and ammo in it)., at this time hit tab to open inventory and make space. Some times auto equip on weapons when picked up onto weapons (even an EAST SILENCER replacements the improvised silencer in the alice pack).

DayZ was also removed from Steam for me after my third crash. This has happened to at least two people on Reddit too. I've been able to confirm at least a dozen other people are experiencing general system crashes on Windows 7 and 10 systems.

Did some more experimenting last night and did not come across any weapons that were bugged when i picked them up. Maybe the broken weapons you found had been dropped by other players?

I think I managed to find the dump file for the crash. This is what windows has to say about the error. I found this in windows event viewer. I hope this is the right error message. I'll know for sure when it crashes again.

Couldn't make out any error message. I get a generic blue screen memory crash. It's only up for a few seconds. I will try to take a picture next time it happens.

I am also getting this same annoying audio lag its actually game breaking i was enjoying 63 and loved how smooth everything was running and looking until i went indoors and grfrgrrgwegregrgergergegeg wow its bad lol any updates on this being fixed or whats causing the problem because i don't get this on 62?

Same here with the entire system crash and blue screen of death (windows 10 equivalent screen). Also DayZ looks like its uninstalled from Steam but the files are still present in the steamapps folder. You need to redownload again

I found a Scorpion and MP5-K that both had this issue on Stress Test #31. I took a screenshot of the MP5, it shows a clip as an attachment (along the bottom row of attachments), but the weapon image itself the clip does not show attached to the gun. The clip cannot be removed, and if you try to remove it the UI gets messed up, you're unable to drop the weapon to the ground for a few seconds, then eventually it seems to fix itself and the weapon can be moved normally but the clip is still attached.

But before reinstalling I ran Uninstall_BattleEye.bat file from ../DayZ/BattleEye folder, then I unstalled DayZ via Steam, then I checked Documents and AppData for any DayZ files and folders, then I checked Common Files folder in Program Files (x86) for any remnants of BattleEye and only after that I rebooted the PC and installed DayZ via Steam.

It works now, but for some reason it runs 32 bit version by default (not a big problem).

Were you able to take a note of the error message that appeared with the blue screen (if there was one)? And has the issue occurred since re-installing the game? There have been reports of such behaviour from other games on Steam as well and it might be possibly a Steam side problem.

I have not started the game in like 2 weeks, I use windows 7 but seeing all the BSOD reports Im going to hold off until it is confirmed fixed :(

This has happened to me now as well, twice, come s up with a blue screen stop code which states "SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED'

Works on on SWE 1-1 Exp

I´ve tried to reinstall BE but it just won´t load.

Had the same problem on Swe 1-2 Experimental.

Testet both. Fullscreen resolution is 1920x1080 but I tried all of them and still the same problem.

Can you try to remove the contents of your C:\Users\*username*\Documents\DayZ\ folder, launch the game and let us know if that has any effect on the issue? Also, do you experience the same issue on the experimental branch as well? And have you experienced this issue on all stress test builds or has it started to occur from a certain version?

Tested again in stress test 31, "Wash Hands" with a water bottle still triggers the slit throat emote and hands remain bloody.

Yeah, can confirm relation to what kind of surface you are lying on, when trying again I got the stutters on grass or in the woods, but did not get it when lying on a concrete floor, was able to snipe efficiently with an IZH18 that way.

I've found that the ladders on the south side of the ship do not work, but the ones on the north side seem to work fine.
