Validated that it does not help, to set a 60Hz or 120Hz screen refresh. Same black screen and the system and game are responsive, just with a black screen.
T161513 is unrelated to an unknown condition affecting Win 10 where setting the refresh to 60Hz could fix that problem, note that issue was reported as a system lockup which is very different than how T161513 manifests itsself

As described, I am able to consistently reproduce and successfully replicate the black screen with autoHDR enabled as described.

Run as dedicated User not Root from Homefolder.

@Tnargav I totally agree, this is neither a fix nor a workaround. Its a completely different function. And if you ever played dayz in a hustle of a fight, you would know, that looting a body, where you have to check the stats of an item by middlemousebutton, just doesn't work -> DEAD ....
So please @PR9INICHEK stop telling people to ride a bike, when the car is broken, its not a fix for the broken car.

The crash dump points towards the issue with client being unable to locate running instance of Steam.
Do you have any network drop outs or possibly your Steam account logged somewhere else?
Have you tried to restart Steam and your computer?

I solved the problem, but i still get this.

There must be another solution than that. Like not even a reinstall fixes that bug

And now i got another error (0x00000001 UNABLE_TO_INIT_DXGI).

I don't have any connection issues with Steam and I have some other devices with my Steam account on them. I've tried restarting steam and my computer. I've tried deleting the DayZ documents folder and running steam as admin. Somebody said it could be a graphics issue and so I've tried updating my drivers. Nothing has worked. if you have anymore advice please share.

This also happens to me on varying servers. What I usually do before I launch the game is go where the DayZ is installed, open the BattlEye folder and run the BEService executable. After that, I start the game, join the queue, click leave, then connect to the server again without quitting the game. I've done this the last two times I played and it seemed to connect with no issue.

NVidia 1080ti, single 3840x1080 screen but running dayz in a window. (Samsung CHG90 monitor). If you need my whole system report let me know.

Seems to be workin, i have done what u told me to do, ill install the mods and try on the moded servers and tell u what hapend.

I experience that problem on several servers.

The issue seems to be related to issues with Steam. Do you have any connection issues at the moment? Or does possibly anyone else have access to your Steam account? Have you tried to restart the Steam client/computer?

I have seen this issue on many servers, including completely vanilla ones. It does not happen all the time but there is always people having those messages even tho the server is up and running with lots of players already on it. Usually verifying game files helps but sometimes it does and it ends up fixing itself after a while.

Hi, the steam cloud is off. Yes, this problem only occurs on a modified server, only kicks me. I have a friend whose computer is weaker than mine, and he plays without errors. I still haven't solved this problem.

Same. You have to beta test the game to make it an enjoyable experience. When you spawn in your underwear on vanilla you will catch a cold before finding enough supplies every time. I am warm dry, decently fed, dropped my gloves mask sunglasses and hat. Ate 2 tetracycline stayed warm dry and decently fed. Then started eating multivitamins up to 5 without curing my cold. This is obviously not an enjoyable experience if you have just a few players per server. Gear is too sparse. Spawning makes a cold inevitable, its virtually uncurable and the information online on how to cure a cold is contradicting because of so many renditions of a broken game trying to fix it. "fixing" it would require more than just 2 players on a server to be considered "fixed", considering if people are playing the game it is not "broken" and I would just be here crying because Im not a good player. However the case is the game is broken and considered un enjoyable. Evidenced by server counts of nobody playing the game. This is what we learned modding a Dayz server in 2013. Beta test. Make the game enjoyable and the server becomes more and more popular. A big part of what makes Dayz fun was not playing on a empty server.

It would be an easy process to convert a piece of paper to a written note item if a pen is interacted with it.

any new additions to the favorites tab are saved, so far.
