Getting this issue. Happens fairly consistently. We use quite a few mods.

Attached an RPT from a time where it happened but it's pretty messy with script errors for other things.

easy steps to reproduce by Gorogon

Way two (Gun shots and muzzle flashesh dissapears at the beginning but usulaly lately it get back)

  1. drop all your magazines except one in the gun
  2. Drop this one
  3. Take this one, it will automaticly load to gun
  4. Fire
  5. Ask your buddy if he could hear first few seconds of you firing gun

also taking ammo from ammo crates seems to produce that bug

I also have this issue, I am unable to modify the status or delete tickets that I have submitted. I am able to edit but when I submit the changes it simply says access denied.

I checked dev-branch yesterday and noticed that this bug has been partially fixed. Batteries don't disappear any more, but if they are stored in the vest or backpack, one of them gets moved to the uniform upon respawning, being revived, or entering Virtual Arsenal. As long as one battery is in the uniform all other batteries stay where they are.

This is a serious issue in many gamemodes. Designator batteries disappear from the inventory and from the laser designator itself one at a time starting with batteries stored in the inventory upon respawning or being revived.

Like the ticket author wrote, it is also not possible to save a loadout with a working laser designator in Virtual Arsenal because the battery is not saved.

I can't even find the designator batteries in the virtual arsenal. But I found them in a regular ammo crate.

However, when I went back to the virtual arsenal and tried to save the new loadout [with a designator battery] it failed to save the battery. Everything else was saved, but not the designator battery.

The first time you click add, it adds a "magazine" (also known as a battery) to the designator (and loads it). Anything else is extra. It works just like the guns do.

Today, I tried again to connect in a online server and managed to see the page where the players get their especializations during the online mission, but before being able to start playing, the same error appeared, but during the last try I received a message saying : "You were kicked off the game. (BattlEye:Client not responding)"

I will leave the printscreens of everything.

Well. I have tried with no mods enabled, i have tried a new profile as well. All this i tested yesterday. I have a few mods in the arma 3 folder but im not using them in launch options. Every file i have in the user/appdata/local folder i have attached above.

all the crashes are at the same place, but unfortunately in your system. There is nothing we can do about it. I'd recommend repairing/reinstalling your system.

Can you upload somewhere in winrar package please?
When the archive is smaller than 5000k, you can attach it here. When it is bigger, please use some free sharing service and post link here.

How to find correct crashdump file:
Try to make the crash happen
Look into crashdump folder
Upload crashdump with latest date in name (crashdump is rpt + bidmp + mdmp file with same name). Please try to provide as many crashdumps as possible, it helps us investigating the problem in a big way.

Confirmed. You can only get those things down by shooting with rockets/missles or if you shoot out the pilot.

  • 50.cal sniper rifle...no effect besides HULL damage.
  • 50.cal machine gun...not very useful either.
  • HMG MRAP turret...only HULL damage again.
  • Minigun from Ghosthawk...only shooting the pilot is useful.
  • GMG MRAP turret...even less useful.
  • Titan missle launcher...very effective!

(As if anybody would ever shoot down a civilian helicopter with AA.)

Yeah, might want to be fixed.

I suggest to rename missiles for RPG-42 according to analogy: "выстрел ПГ-42В" (cumulative) and "выстрел ОГ-42В" (antipersonnel) or "выстрел ТБГ-42В" (thermobaric).

Обрати внимание, "реактивная противотанковая граната РПГ-28", "реактивная штурмовая граната РШГ-2" это названия гранатомётов одноразового применения, они сами и гранатомёт и выстрел, так что учи матчасть, студент!

Иными словами, чтобы было понятнее, сформулирую так: "выстрелом" называется боеприпас к гранатомёту, а "гранатой" - его, выстрела, головная часть

Также кстати и боеприпасы для танковой пушки, снаряд это то, что летит, а выстрел - это и снаряд и пороховой заряд вместе взятые, а в некоторых случаях ещё и гильза (выстрелы бывают без гильзы)

Это, ЕСЛИ ИЗ ВИКИ, гранатомётный выстрел, ок., к примеру: гранатомётный выстрел фугасный, гранатомётный выстрел кумулятивный. У мотострелков это называется гранатой. Или почему огнемёт РШГ так и назван- РШГ? И вообще название нужно смотреть не в виеипедии, а в документах учёта продовольствия и вооружения.

  2. где ссылка, хотя бы на боевой устав РФ? Или ты считаешь, что этого достаточно?

  2. почему патрон называется патрон, а стреляют пулями?

И вообще, смешно наблюдать, как нерусские "умники" пытаются научить "глупого" майора российской армии, как называется выстрел от гранатомёта!!!
Главное - зачем им это? Ведь они-то в русскую версию играть не будут!

Слушай, redux, я так понимаю ты русский язык понимаешь, раз тебе не всё равно как в русской версии будет называться боеприпас для гранатомёта. Если нет, то тебе незачем тут засорять комментарии, ты всё равно некомпетентен в этом вопросе. И какая тебе разница тогда как будет называться боеприпас, если ты сам не русский и играешь в английскую, или какую другую версию. Этот гранатомёт уже больше года называется "AA Launcher" и я ещё не видел, чтобы кто-то, кроме меня, об этом позаботился.

Not rename "Фугасный выстрел", but rename "Фугасная граната".
On the link http://jresco.zpf.me/SitePage.aspx?PageId=7 it is written that the shells was called "Grenade".

Vaulter, "выстрел" - is a proffesional military term, and also is an action. "ОФ выстрел" - is not wrong name.

AT - "ПТ выстрел для РПГ-42", "ПТ"

HE - "ПП выстрел для РПГ-42", "ПП"

ПТ - ПротивоТанковая (antitank) - It's all names for mines and arty shells.
ПП - ПротивоПехотная (antipersonal)
ББ - БронеБойная (armor-piercing)
ОФ - Осколочно-Фугасная (high-explosive)

In the game enough to rename "Зенитный снаряд" in "Фугасный снаряд".

Triada, "снаряд" is every ammo. "патрон" (shell), граната (grenade), торпеда (torpedo), ракета (rocket as ammo) and so on - this is ammo - "снаряд".
"выстрел" is an action - shoot, fire.

So any variables near Зенитный! or ОФ выстрел - are wrong.

Translation should be eigther

  • ОФ снаряд (HE ammo)

or more specific

  • ОФ граната (HE grenade)
