Hello 56curious,
sorry about the issue. I'd like to ask if that issue occurs repeatedly or it happened only once?
Nov 7 2016
Hello,
the numbers in the logs doesn't matter for the game as they are simply the values passed to the game through the command line. After that the game parses the values, it clamps them within the limits (which is 2047 MB for system memory, and your actual video card memory as reported by DirectX).
Nov 6 2016
Thank you for letting us know. Enjoy the game.
Hello,
the versions of downloaded game files doesn't match and that is causing the issue. Please go to "E:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\", delete "Launcher" folder and the verify the integrity of the game cache through Steam client to re-download the files.
Hello,
the system memory limit is really 2047 GB. This is the maximum amount of memory Windows can assign to 32 bit process and it is hardcoded in the game. Please note that the game utilize other options and workarounds to keep data in the system memory, but those are not limited by this parameter.

Hi, thank you for letting us know. Enjoy the game!
Hello,
the message means that a Steam component in Launcher can't connect to Steam. It should not prevent you from playing the game, but there is also a chance that whatever is blocking the connection between Launcher and Steam is also blocking the game itself from connecting to Steam. We know that some software can block this, e.g. Comodo Firewall was known to do this. If this is recent issue, it might be caused by a program your installed recently or was updated recently or it can solved by restarting the computer.
Nov 2 2016
Hello,
sorry about the issue. Please try to restart your computer, Steam functions are not correctly initialized and they fail then Launcher uses them.
Oct 30 2016
Could you please run that file through https://virustotal.com and post the link to the result? The error suggest that the file has been tampered with, but it might be either the library in the game folder or the library that is installed on your PC by other application in such a way that it takes precedence over the one distributed with Arma 3.
Oct 19 2016
Hi,
please go to game installation folder and delete the file manually: "D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\Launcher\log4net.dll" and then verify the integrity again.
Oct 17 2016
Hello,
the file mentioned in the message is corrupted. You should be able to fix this using Steam client:
- Open Steam.
- From the Library section, right-click on "Arma 3" and select Properties from the menu.
- Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache... button.
- Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.
After that Steam client should display a message that it restored some files and all should be fixed.
"XAPOFX1_5.DLL" is part of DirectX (XAudio), unfortunately DirectX installer can't repair this kind of corruption. If you have access to another computer, you can get the file from there an overwrite the file on your PC. Use exactly this path to get and replace the file (there are multiple files with the same name, but with different content, in Windows): "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\XAPOFX1_5.dll"

Hello PFPowah,
Dependency Walker tells that at least one file have from version ("Error: Modules with different CPU types were found"). The file itself is not on the screenshot, but if you go through the list, there will be at least one file that has read "x64" in the CPU column. You need to found out what file (or files) it is in order to fix it.

Hi Vlad,
could you please upload the full Launcher logs (in Launcher: Options / Export Launcher logs to desktop). It seems that one part of Steam client has the knowledge of the mods (it is listed), but other does not (the download monitor that provides info whether it is installed or in the download queue).

Hello Haywood_Voltiac,
you're actually experiencing 2 crashes at once:
- STATUS_BUFFER_OVERFLOW is crash of the game. The colleagues will need the crash report related to it and other relevant data. Here is described how you can get them: https://feedback.bistudio.com/w/ft_a3_howto/gamecrash/

Hello,
thank you for reporting the issue. Indeed there is a bug that is triggered by command-line Publisher when a mod with game extensions (DLLs) is published.
Sep 30 2016
You can use the current version of Publisher with a simple workaround: select your own picture for the mod in the bottom-right section instead of using the predefined images.
Hello,
thank you for reporting the issue. We've found out that we've released an incorrect version of Arma 3 Publisher with the latest tools update. Tools suite should be updated soon with correct version of Publisher.

Hello Ben_123,
the Dependency Walker revealed that a DirectX Audio library on your PC is corrupted. If you have any other computer available, get the file "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\xapofx1_5.dll" and overwrite the same file on your PC. Beware that there are more file with the same name in Windows, but you need the one from the exactly that folder.
Hello Ben_123,
the error you have is 0xC000012F - STATUS_INVALID_IMAGE_NOT_MZ, which basically means that files on your PC are corrupted and the system can't run the game at all (an that is also why there are no logs).
Hi GarciaK,
thanks for letting us know. Enjoy the game.
Hello Inch,
the NUL (0x00) char is only used as terminal character of the string. But it's not a separator! Some of the fields in the protocol are numbers of fixed length and in those the 0x00 is part of the values itself.
Hello,
Steam didn't properly updated all the files and that is causing the crash. Please delete the folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\Launcher" and then verify integrity of the game cache using Steam client to force it to re-download the files:
- Open Steam.
- From the Library section, right-click on "Arma 3" and select Properties from the menu.
- Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache... button.
- Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.

Or you can try this fix: http://arma.jiripolasek.com/files/DirectX_Fix_For_Arma3.exe
It is supposed to fix DirectX files that the default DirectX Installer won't fix.
Hi Noogai22,
you issue is that the game can't run because DirectX libraries on you PC are wrong and the OS can't start the game.

Hello,
the logs shows that you have wrong files in your game folder - some of them belong to a different version of the game than others and that is causing the error.
Hello ONYX,
did you restarted the computer after you've uninstalled the update? Windows will keep it loaded until next restart (because they can't remove or change the files while they are used by other programs).
Hello,
this issue is caused by the Windows update KB3078601. You can either uninstall the update or wait for Microsoft to release a fixed version of the update.
At this time there is nothing we can do to prevent the issue, sorry for the inconvenience.

Hello,
thank you for reporting this issue. It's usually caused by a brief disruption of internet connection with in turn breaks a communication channels between Launcher and Steam client.

Hi,
could you please upload Launcher logs? I'm aware that currently the list of mods doesn't refresh itself in some cases (like after the mod is deleted), but that doesn't result in crash and I can't replicate it (the crash).

Thank you for letting me know that it worked. I've put a fix for this case to Launcher, so hopefully it won't happen again.
Logs show that one of the files with preset is corrupted. Unfortunately this version of Launcher has a bug that prevents it from loading more presets after it encounter a corrupted one. The fix for this will be available in the next version.
Hello Michal1029,
could you please upload Launcher logs? Go to Options menu in Launcher and then select 'Export Launcher logs to desktop'.
Thank you for letting us know. Enjoy the game.

Hello,
please delete the file "MEGA SANDBOX.preset2" from your preset folder - the file is corrupted - and that should fix your issue.

Hello Jman,
Hello,
it seems that some .NET Framework files were not updated. Please try to re-install .NET Framework 4.6.2: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=53345 or use .NET Framework Repair Tool: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30135
Thank you. Publisher can't load some data because of the path it is installed. Specifically it has an issue with the '#' character in your '#Software' path. I'll fix the issue, but as a temporary workaround, you can move Publisher from "C:\#SOFTWARE\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3 Tools\Publisher\" to other folder without '#' in the path.
Aug 30 2016
Hello,
is there also the file "arma3publisher.rpt"? The one you've uploaded is in fact ""arma3publisher.steam.rpt" and from that I can only tell that Publisher is communicating with Steam normally.

Hello,
the error message says that you're missing one of these two files:
- dwrite.dll - this file is part of Windows, so you have to let Windows to repair itself: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929833
- wpftxt_v0400.dll - this file is part of Microsoft .NET Framework; try to re-install the latest version of .NET Framework https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=53345 and/or run the .NET Framework Repair Tool in the case the re-install doesn't help you https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30135

Hello,
some of the labels there were changed, we're currently waiting for translators to finish their magic so we could incorporate translation in Launcher.
