Arma 3 fails to launch, instead giving me the "STATUS_INVALID_IMAGE_FORMAT" error message.
Both Steam's verification and SFC have returned nothing, and I am lost for ideas.
I've provided a link for my arma 3 .dwi file so that hopefully someone might be able to find the solution.

@Noogai22, I cannot download the file that you linked. I get The folder ‘/Public’ doesn’t exist. You should be able to upload directly to this feedback tracker by dragging and dropping the file.
@Jawsh
I tried to upload to the tracker directly but it kept failing and telling me something about configuring storage engines?
Could you also prepare and upload a troubleshooting report? You can do this by starting the Arma 3 launcher then clicking OPTIONS and then "Prepare Arma 3 troubleshooting report...". Once the report is compiled upload it as you did for the previously file. I think the devs will find it more useful.
Got a log including the details of what happens when attempting to launch.
This one managed to go directly to tracker, so maybe the .dwi was a size issue?
Hmm. There are no RPT files in that report. Could you check for arma3.rpt files in %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Arma 3? If there are none there either then try starting Arma 3 again and see if that creates an RPT file.
Hi Noogai22,
you issue is that the game can't run because DirectX libraries on you PC are wrong and the OS can't start the game.
If you have any other computer available, get the file "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\d3dx10_43.dll" and overwrite the same file on your PC. Beware that there are more file with the same name in Windows, but you need the one from the exactly that folder.
Or you can try this fix: http://arma.jiripolasek.com/files/DirectX_Fix_For_Arma3.exe
It is supposed to fix DirectX files that the default DirectX Installer won't fix.
