2 major suggestions:
- The list of mods needs a 'category' column. Whether the mod is 'terrain/map', 'objects - (type)', 'gear', 'units', 'vehicle - (type)', etc etc etc. You're surely getting my drift. The mods list is getting very long on my machine and as you've laid it out, it is not organized enough.
- The launcher has to identify the existence of a mod AND its dependencies REGARDLESS of whether it was downloaded on Steam or added from elsewhere. For now, only Steam-added mods show any dependencies or are recognized fully.
