- Start ARMA 3 Launcher
- Click the Hamburger menu tab in the launcher (Top right corner. Next to Options (Cog wheel icon) and Minimize Button)
- Drop down menu will appear
- Select: Prepare Arma Troubleshooting error and save those files
- A notification will pop up with the name of the generated file
Please note that the files might take a while to collect.
Attach the generated files to the ticket. If the files are too big please use some free file sharing service.

Upon further testing it seems that the "play as character" function also causes the same error
I tried running the mods in the 1.54 build and the problems seem to have been fixed.

It seems that in the end Launcher was receiving list of subscribed items from Steam with some items duplicated in it and these duplicates were causing all kinds of weird behavior. I've put some filter to Launcher to remove the duplicates and also to remove duplicates from Launcher cache if the duplicate items were already persisted.
The fix should hit the dev-branch on Monday.

I had to go back to stable branch yesterday for community event, and now the issue is gone (I am back on dev yet again) But I can tell you that the issue did not disappeared after a few seconds, I actually needed like half an hour to get the mods properly loaded for the event because some of the duplications refused to become ready.

could you please confirm the behavior you observe for me: as Launcher starts it lists all Steam mods twice and after a second the duplicates disappear. Is that right?
It seems it isn't a problem with the launcher alone. Scenarios also appear twice in the scenario menu.
I think its a bug report not a feature request. Change it to Bug for 3DEN and change it to : you want that when you delete a kind of element (unit, vehicle etc) that every trace of it will be deleted in the mission files so there will be no ghost vehicles. Or another way would be just to check when saving if there is any kind of vehicle of this type if not delete it.
No, the changes saved properly, the thing is there still were leftovers in addOnsAuto[]={} and addOns[]={} even after deleting content from the addons.
Were you in the editor while you were changing the mission.sqm?

thank you for your report and files. It seems that your problem is that DirectX crashes. This may be from various reasons, such as outdated DirectX, outdated drivers, overclocked CPU or GPU [by manufacturer or user] and many more.

In my case even previewing scenario doesn't enable camera controls. Even opening a new one doesn't. Only thing that works is exiting editor.

Woow that is really helpful. That kind of list would be cool in some small missionmaker tutorial. This should be everything essential for a mission. Maybe add such a small description.ext Tutorial to 3DEN. I mean just this options.

Except the hotfix didn't fix the issue... :(
The 3den line is coming back, even after deleting it.
The Zeus module is adding the 3den addon requirement.
Please fix this.

This need to be fixed ASAP.
That's normal man. The fix was to allow missions to be played with that there. This is all part of future plans. No need to worry or remove that line anymore
This little "bug" was complete bs BIS. This sort of thing should have been caught way before 1.54 was released...come on guys! I read my .rpt file and saw the issues was 3DEN and then I came on here to create a ticket, no surprise it's already up.
Just checked, the issue is resolved in the hotfix 1.54.0.133596.

No relation with CBA, but yeah the solution for now is to remove all references to "3DEN" from mission.sqm.
There will be two references, one under addOns and one under autoAddOns. Use Ctrl+F of course.
BTW BIS seems to be aware of this issue, and a hotfix is now in RC.

It is a critical issue.
the only solution is to open the mission.sqm of the mission and delete "3DEN" in the list of addons[] at the begining of the file.
Then mind to delete the comma at the end of line just adove.
Looks like were gonna be forced to clean all mission sqms :p
Sorry guys can't change the urgency of ticket. Last time they jumped on a report from RC pretty quickly. Guess I expected the same here....
I'm sure in the morning they'll pick up on this. Just keep voting it up. As said before, workaround is to edit the mission file and remove the EDEN reference
This issue made it to the final release 1.54, and now any mission edited using the previous patch (1.52 if I recall) is locked ! The problem appears to be the pbo containing CfgPatches named 3DEN which has been renamed or removed.
This is a critical retrocompatibility issue !
