You guys make it logical to upload a 7 meg file without me having to split it into 13 archives, with 3 to 4 files each, then maybe I'll take the time, otherwise you can resolve the problem, by playing the game yourself, and using your own files. I don't think you guys really wanted to make the upload process easy. Come on 2,097K limit, are you guys serious about fixing bugs or not! I've got like 2 files over 8 megs, and I'm not winrar expert on how to do this stuff. Making arma missions is easier than how you've made your bug reporting and upload thingie.
@Astaroth, I no longer have these files, I erased them already, but I'm not the only one posting on this exact problem, there are quite a few that have offered the rest of those files you are seeking. I've read a lot of them, and their circumstances are the same as my own. I may not have the files, but we can both agree what files are causing the problem which leads to a starting point for YOU guys, unless you are aware of this problem to begin with, and it'll just end up another problem that gets bounced around in the next few Arma Releases. Read your own .rpt files, we can't be the only ones testing in multiplayer, and I don't want to hear that the .rpt files are only for us to solve our map making problems, because it's a great source for fixes from the missions Bohemia releases that are full of bugs long past the Full game release.
What's not normal is that it gets you killed, and I'm sure that's a carry over as well from bugs not fixed in previous games. Auto-stancing should not be implemented because the software assumes it knows what we want. I've been prone, check my map, my figure stands up, then kneels down, then I get shot by enemy, how is that fun! These are simply bugs, do we need a vote on what takes priority, you should fix all the problems, the smaller ones should be the easiest.
It would be nice and useful for passengers aboard the little birds to be able to shoot, while being shot at. It's only fair, and realistic to be able to defend yourself upon landing in a hostile LZ.
Please do not give us another game in which we can not tell the AI to land, and or to get out. Just telling the AI to disembark is not enough, because he will fly away, and land nowhere near you. We want the option to tell an AI to land exactly where we want, perhaps by popping green, or red smoke, depending on hostilities around. If it's red smoke he'll land quicker, green smoke he can take his sweet time. But either way we would appreciate a means of telling the pilot to land where we want them to, and to stay in the helicopter.
He's the biggest help I can give you. Whenever we say something, load up your copy of Arma 3 Alpha and verify it, if it doesn't happen to you, or others, it isn't a priority, if it happens to you, then we obviously arn't making it up. Can you see the compass? I can't! To small. PLEASE, play and beta test the games we're paying to beta test, it's not a gift if we have to pay for it!
I'm not too crazy about this ideal of jumping in Arma, it's never been there, and doesn't belong there! For those that want the jump button, go play Battlefield 3, I think the Arma series has been fine without a bunch of jumping monkeys trying to avoid getting shot in multiplayer. Real combat soldiers do not go about jumping in combat. I have no objection to what psychomorph suggested, if it's done with that in mind, but I don't want to turn Arma into another Battlefield 3 game, full of jumpies that bounce around like frogs, while wasting a mag of ammo in your direction. This is not what Arma was meant to be. It was meant to be a squad based strategic solution to mission based problem solving, not some free for all bunny hopping contest, where the best hopper wins.
We can't really give you a reason why, but this should be obvious to any team member who logs on, it's not just happening to beta testers, you should know more about this problem than us. We are given no reason; No errors, so what more can we provide! As of 3/20/2013 I can't log onto a single server I once played in previous days, because it keeps kicking me out to the lobby, and I don't know what to call that error, it's just happening all the sudden.

This automatic stance changing has gotten me killed many times, in fact I shouldn't even be on here, because I'm dead. But since it's a game, I have a second chance to complain about it.
This is a must feature. We had to endure this in Arma 1 and 2, and I'm hoping they allow a land feature so we can tell the AI where we want them to land, and make them land at that location, rather than to fly 1 klick out to land whereever it wants.
TraxusIV has my support %100, and I agree with him %100! And let his statement be a memorial of the discrimination shown to women, because this is a good example. We do not want women as mods that we have to disable, or enable, we want them as native to the game as the males. If you keep women out of this game, you may as well keep men out as well, just to be fair! This is a fight worth fighting in my book, and I will type my fingers off defending a woman's right to play THIS GAME, with FEMALE models.
Perhaps more women would start playing games like Arma if they didn't have to play as men. Men no longer dominate much of anything, and women can do just about anything now days that men can do, so I have no problem with women characters, (as long as they do the jobs we don't want to do), just kidding! By not allowing women in Arma, will only prove to make Arma more unrealistic, because like it or not, women are in the military today, in real life, and they are here to stay, and they are getting more and more responsibilities as time goes by. So as I say, women are in the military, and they're here to stay, so why not make Arma as truely realistic as possible, if you don't want girls in YOUR mission, then don't add them, but at least give us the option, and besides, I'd rather have women on my team, than be stuck with a bunch of gays, does it matter. If you don't allow women, you shouldn't allow gays, thats just being fair to women. Women deserve their rights, and if it's war they want, we should accept whatever help they can give us, (as long as they bring their own dish soap), kidding, just had to say it!
Please don't vote this down on the sole basis that other bug fixes take priority, because in the end what your going to get, is an Arma 3 game without female models, because BIS will see all the people voting down, and assume that female models were not wanted. So vote honestly, because BIS handles the priority, not us, they know that a functioning game comes before the extra features, and do not have to be told what priority these issues take. I agree with another reporter, and I too, can not believe this is even an issue to be discussed, with all the games out on the market now that that have and will include women. I'm so sick of being around guys all the time, and gays are like a dime a dozen now days in Arma, for once it'd be nice to see how well a woman would do given a combat role; Are men just afraid that women may just do a better job than us men, or are the gays afraid of competition? I'm starting to think that's why they won't give them a chance in Arma! Women should not be discriminated against in life, nor in games! I've never been commanded by a woman in a video game, but I would like to see what future combat will be like, after we get rid of our petty squabbles regarding women in Arma!
After reading so many posts by so many people, I am just angry! Having women models in Arma 3 is no big deal, and contrary to popular belief, is not a huge issue on resources to add them. As far as women distracting men, and not being able to carry the load, let me tell you what distracts me more, is all the gays, and their disgusting remarks while I'm playing. I don't care one way or another about women in the military, that's up to the military, and whether BIS puts female models in the game or not, will not affect the real life decisions relating to women in the military, so I wish people would stop comparing Arma 3 to real life. Because if you are, then you are basically accepting of fags in the military, because they are men, but transvestites are not allowed, because they look like women, even through they both are males, which distract the real soldiers which are STRAIGHT, who strive to have morals. Let women have their own freaking model's please and stop this horsecrap, because it's only a game, and not real life. I can't play as a woman model, do you think a woman can play as a male model? I don't care if you know women who can, there are thousands who can't, in comparison to the few you know! As far as what modders will and will not do, well, thats up to them isn't it! But women have THE RIGHT TO PLAY A VIDEO GAME WITH FEMALE MODELS, and not be stuck to male models. If this issue gets out of hand, I will stop playing this game all together, because it's not fair to women to be excluded from a game as good as Arma 3, just because a bunch of fags can't take the competition!
I agree! Based on my experience of having logged into many servers and playing hour upon hour, I have discovered gameplay is optimal at about 4 to 8 players, but when jips reach 20 to 40, the lag and loss of connection sets in. This makes the game totally unplayable at that point, and I have to disconnect, and find a server with less people.
I agree! There are times when I can't see 5 feet in front of me, even with a flashlight, because it doesn't light up enough area to be useful.
I voted down because on several coop missions we are fighting cooperatively against AI, and this feature will only aid as a disadvantage to the human side. The sun will not affect the AI's ability to one shot one kill us, as they have been in the past.
I've witnessed this first hand as well. I landed two 40mm grenades right on a 4 man patrol, which should have killed at least 3 of them if not all. But none of them died.
I agree, because I was in the lowest stance short of prone, and was shot through the rock I was hiding behind, which obscured me completely from the enemy.
AI should have a visual arc, and should not see outside of that arc. They should not know what others know, unless this information is broadcast over enemy radio.
I just had the same problem with the physicX_86.dll file, and submitted my report as well, but I think they have enough, because so many people have experienced the same problem, if they can't find the problem, it's probably one of those problems they already know about, but can't do nothing about, so they keep asking for more information. Whenever Arma 3 crashes, the .rpt file should automatically be uploaded to their end. That's a given, with no excuses as to why this feature is not built into the dev process. If they play multiplayer, then they have the rpt files as well, the problem is obviously not happening to them when they play each other, or they are simply ignoring all of their report files, to fix only the ones WE complain about, am I getting warmer? This is not just something that happens to us stupid gamers. I'm running an ATI 5800 series, and it's either some DirectX component failing, or it's the PhysicX_86.dll failing, or its one of their "alpha" memory managers. But these are the key components they MUST fix, before we can help them fix the non essentials! That's their job, not ours! And if they can't see the problems on their end its because they're not looking for them, because they know it won't work in the end product no matter how much we complain about it during the Alpha Stage. They have bugs from Flashpoint, Arma 1 and 2 that have never been fixed, and I'm afraid this may just be another one of those things standing in our way, until they get serious on their end!
