Enemies can shoot right through things like trees despite being completely obscured themselves and having no line of sight on the player. In fact, they generally seem to be way too aware of your location. During the Scuba mission I popped up out of the water just enough to look around just outside of the bay where the enemy camp is located, and immediately they knew my exact location and were able to use accurate fire against me.

Play the Infantry mission, and watch for tracer fire coming from behind trees and other obscuring factors.

Jap, that was already a problem in arma and arma 2 ... sadly they didnt fix it in the alpha. +1 to that.

But 1000 kudos for reporting this, but its a naff effort.
I think it's totally okay they can't shoot you thru leafs(if they see you moving behind that tree), i do the same to the ai. However it's a limited amount of time in which they should be able to figure out where you're standing behind the tree. tehy seem to always know where... somehow..
Agree. I can't hide behind the Ifrit in the vehicle showcase or behind a mass of Physx cargo crates.
I agree, because I was in the lowest stance short of prone, and was shot through the rock I was hiding behind, which obscured me completely from the enemy.

Same "issue" for the following :
This is the same problem when a leader or another unit tell us there is an enemy near us, saying : "Rifleman 100 meter" whereas this unit (saying that) is in front of a house and cant be able to see the enemy unit at the moment.
