This appears to be similar to my ticket as well. I noticed files keep missing as well when I look at the crashdump logs. I can play 0.63, but when I try to revert to 0.62, it still won't start the game pass the logo. However, mine crashes without an exception window. I wonder if it has to do with Windows...

Damn this happened to me once too, pretty random.

See this issue, the last comment also shows how it's reproduced, by looting a magazine from the ground while your inventory is full, the magazine will go into your gun instead of your backpack/clothes inventory, once that happens the mag is bugged.

When you log in to 0.63 you HAVE to double tap alt key. I don't know if it just hasn't been reported, or if everyone is just okay with it.

Hello, today I reinstalled the game in the afternoon. Check all the same errors. I used to try to upgrade to version 0.62, but it works. And when you upgrade to 0.63, you get an error. Maybe this is due to the fact that the insider version of Windows is worth?

We have been testing this issue thoroughly but so far we were unable to reproduce it, though we are aware of some situations during which magazines may become stuck in weapons. The next time you experience this issue, can you try to take note of the specific actions/details you have done prior to the issue occurring (Such as the weapon placement ((hands slot / back slot)), the placement of the magazines, the way you have loaded the magazine ((through quickbar / drag and drop)) etc.) and let us know under this ticket?

This issue seems to be recurring. After filing my original issue and waiting I deemed my original character lost and restarted on a new server. Though functional for awhile the connecting failed issue again resurfaced and required a server switch (this time at least my character was preserved). I'm not 100% but it seems to be related to exiting a server via pressing "Logout now" when quitting instead of waiting the 15 seconds. At a certain point I can never reconnect to the server and I'm forced to migrate. So, for now, I can mitigate via switching servers however losing a character again would be rough.

This is .62 which is basically a dead branch of the game, all development is on the new engine in .63. They will fix some critical errors but they're certainly not concerned with visual problems as this build is no longer under active development.

I can also confirm this issue with Windows 10 17713 build and get random ebo errors when launching the game. Previous windows build had no issues.

Not in this case. It started a few days ago and I've been back to check multiple times over that time span including a few times this morning. Something else happening here

Usually connecting failed is a server that is crashing and you gotta wait a few minutes before you can join that server again.
