If by "terraforming" you means the heightmap - the terrain, in your old (broken) project it will be one of the *.v4d files, but we don’t know exactly which one to use, since it varies from project to project.

Does the Experimental version run? If so, we suggest to disable Steam cloud sync, delete the contents of your DayZ documents folder and then copy over the contents of your DayZ Exp folder from documents into it.

The watermark is quite small now on experiemntal and can easily be ignored. You can tone down the HUD visibility also in the game settings.
This is the player.db file.
Did you find a fix for this? I`m having the same problem.
Why do they even need a watermark? Its not rocket science to know what game you are playing. They could easily just have the version your playing on and it would do the same thing. Its impossible to be immersed into a game that plasters its name across your screen i would rather not play experimental even though id love to.
hackers made me leave official servers...like week ago i tried experimental and guess what hacker killed me

I changed my graphics settings at one point and the cloud rendered where at first it didnt. But now I can't make it work and my settings are all at extreme..

If the problem is fixed by Dayz, can we see a stable version of the fix for the problem with weapons from you at 1.28?
iiiit was the Nvidia app. I've closed it and all appears to be right in the world again.

One comment that I do have is that I was able to improve the performance greatly by switching to "Prefer maximum performance" in Nvidia Control Panel -> Manage 3d Settings -> Power Management Mode
Hey Geez, Thank you for the response. I've lowered the resolution to the lowest possible standards and cannot play at the monitors native resolution. I understand that the developers are very busy, but please look at the game in the wide resolution and try changing the resolution in game. Changing the resolution in Windowed mode does not respond to input. I'm fine with the current bandaid solution on my client, but if you can document this bug for future releases that would be appreciated.

At lest tell BE to keep an eye on that server in peak hours. I know they're crippled, but this is just a one serv. Maybe if they start intense banning, cheaters won't feel that freely there after some time. You are from devs team so at least they will listen to you.

You can relog onto another official server that shares your character. This will reset your position completely.

Are you able to launc and log into an experimental server? If so, can you try to disable Steam cloud sync, then delete the contents of your DayZ folder located in documents and then copy over the contents from your DayZ Exp documents folder into it?

Just to add. Here is a clip of me being shot on Expy Sakhal by a DMR, that was not suppressed. I am not hearing the gunshots. I really don't know I am being shot at. There is a distant sounding noise that sounds like I a pistol being fired. It really doesn't feel like I am being shot at, the third shot at me hits the scope on my gun. Until then I didn't know it was me being shot. There is no "zip" of the bullet or any audible cue the bullets are flying past me.

Thats a bummer, I personally haven't had any crashes. Obviously its not a permanent fix but at least it will stop crashes 4-5 times a day. The main issue is the lack of sanity checks in the DayZ code and the short-circuit coding. As of this last update, Enfusion engine doesn't appear to properly handle && operator logic.
Any officals or assurance server where they cant hack??

You can try creating a new project (with the same parameters and heightmap) and gradually import all the template libraries from the old project.
Once that's done,you should close Terrain Builder and then add the object layers from the old project to the new one as well, and try loading the new project.
Any tips or tricks to avoid these things perhaps?? Good hackers you can contact or make things unreachable??
