Some of the sound events for water streams cut off sharply as you move away from the source instead of fading smoothly like others.
This is not the case with all samples, but certain sounds. I've attached a video displaying the bug.

Find a water stream, strafe away from it, if that spot is using one of the affected sound effects, it will cut off instead of fading.
