Have had the same problem twice You can't see the gas that a distance and you can barely tell you're in it when you run into town. The effects of the gas and sounds are there it's just you can't see it

That’s called a lagswitch my friend. Not hacking in the slightest just cheating. Devs have been working on mitigation features though so maybe it’ll come out sometime this year.

Confirmed still present in 1.27.

This issue has been scheduled for a fix since 2022. It’s now 2025, and 10 updates have been released since then - yet the issue remains unresolved. Any updates?

Confirmed still present in 1.27. Since Sakhal shares some decal assets with Livonia, it’s affected as well. On Xbox and PS4, decals are positioned too low, causing them to clip below the terrain and result in severe z-fighting.

Hey @Geez - any update on this for 1.28? You guys need to be prepared; these light entities will be in DayZ Editor soon. Poor Nitrado and their tiny little log files with no file system management or log size capping :)

This also is happening to me all the time and am beginning to get sick of it i need it fixed too

Can confirm this is happening. Happens aiming down anything without a dot or with a dot or scope.

You have to go to types.xml and out their quanmin and max to 100.

On official, you can log into another server that shares your character. This will reset your position. In case this is on a community server you will have to contact server admin or owner.
